Finding a Job in Las Vegas

Unemployment in Las Vegas is 7.4%, above Nevada’s 7.0%, so strong openings draw a crowd. A few things help you stand out:

  • Translate hospitality experience. Years on a resort team build skills in customer service, scheduling, budgets and people leadership. Spell those out when you apply for office, operations or management roles.
  • Look past the Strip. Health care, construction and professional services together employ about a quarter of residents. Those are the permanent roles we recruit for.
  • Nail the interview. Know the organization’s mission, have specific results ready, and ask good questions. The video below walks through it, and our career advice library has more.
