Why Boise tech hiring is its own problem

Boise has drawn technology employers for the same reasons people move here, and
the result is a market where demand for senior engineers outstrips the number of
people locally who have done the job before. Two things follow. First, the strongest
candidates are usually employed and not applying. Second, relocation is a genuine
part of the pitch — the cost-of-living and lifestyle case is real, but only if
someone makes it properly.

We have recruited technical teams here since 2015, including
a
local technical team for a Treasure Valley SaaS company.

Do you recruit for contract or temporary technology roles?

No. RNG Group places permanent, direct-hire employees only. If you need contract
cover, we are not the right partner and will say so at the first conversation.

Can you recruit engineers who are not already in Boise?

Yes. We recruit across Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Utah and Nevada, and
we regularly work on roles where the strongest candidate relocates to the Treasure
Valley.

How do you assess technical skill?

We screen for the specifics of your stack and the shape of the problems your team
solves, then let your engineers make the technical call. Our job is to make sure the
people reaching your interview loop are worth your engineers’ time and actually want
the role.
