Director of Marketing

Boise, ID

RNG Group is partnering with a well-established, multi-campus beauty and cosmetology school network to find their next Director of Marketing.

If you're a versatile, results-driven marketer who loves owning the lead-generation number — and who's just as comfortable setting strategy as you are rolling up your sleeves on the day-to-day — keep reading. This is a chance to run the marketing engine for a growing, multi-campus organization and see your work translate directly into enrollment growth.

About Our Client

Our client operates seven campuses of an accredited beauty and cosmetology school network, with its marketing hub based in Meridian, ID. As part of a respected national franchise, this team blends the support and brand consistency of a larger organization with the close-knit, hands-on culture of a small team.

This is a lean, collaborative organization where marketing works hand-in-hand with enrollment, campus leadership, and clinic/salon operations to keep the pipeline of prospective students strong across all locations. The team values organization, follow-through, and a genuine interest in the beauty and personal-care industry.

What You'll Do

Your #1 KPI

Lead generation. Everything in this role ladders up to one outcome: a larger, higher-quality flow of prospective-student inquiries across all seven campuses, at an efficient cost per lead, that feed enrollment growth.

Demand & Lead Generation (the core of the role)

• Drive prospective-student inquiries across all seven campuses and own the lead-volume target

• Direct the ad agency's paid media (search, social, etc.) to maximize qualified leads at an efficient cost per lead

• Own the automated communication strategy — NLI (no-longer-interested) re-engagement, event campaigns, and nurture touches that pull prospects back into the pipeline

• Build interest and demand through organic social, content, and local presence that turn followers and searchers into inquiries

• Drive attendance and sign-ups for tours, open houses, and events

• Track and report on the metrics that matter: lead volume, cost per lead, source performance, and inquiry-to-enrollment conversion

Channels & Brand
• Ensure each campus website is accurate, up to date, and built to convert visitors into inquiries

• Maintain Google Business Profiles and reviews across all seven campuses to capture high-intent local interest

• Write and craft blog content for the franchisor to publish (SEO and interest-building)

• Manage email newsletters and general marketing communications

• Own and enforce internal brand guidelines (stricter than the franchisor baseline) for consistency across campuses

• Serve as final approver and compliance gatekeeper on all campus-level marketing

• Own the swag store (catalog, ordering, and promotion)

Leadership & Oversight

• Directly oversee and develop the regional Social Media Specialist (organic posting, Canva design, quarterly photoshoots, and the school social media clubs)

• Oversee the retained Videographer, directing hero ad video and high-priority social content that fuels lead gen

• Oversee and direct the ad agency on paid media, strategy, and analytics

• Manage the franchisor relationship for website updates, SEO, blog publishing, and baseline branding

• Partner with the Director of Clinic Classroom to produce and promote clinic/salon initiatives, deals, and offers

• Report lead and ROI performance to the VP of Enrollment

• Hold and safeguard posting credentials across all seven schools (one of only two credentialed users)

What Success Looks Like

• A growing, consistent flow of qualified prospective-student leads across all seven campuses

• Lower cost per lead and clear visibility into which channels and campaigns drive enrollments

• Effective automated re-engagement that revives no-longer-interested prospects and fills events

• Websites and local search/review presence that convert interest into inquiries

• A productive Social Media Specialist and well-managed partners all rowing toward the lead goal

What You Bring

Required

• 3+ years of marketing experience with a clear track record of generating leads or demand (not just brand or content)

• Hands-on experience running or directing paid media and measuring cost per lead / ROI

• Proven ability to manage agencies, vendors, and a small team

• Strong writing and editing skills and a sharp eye for brand consistency

• Comfort living in the numbers — lead volume, conversion, and source attribution — and reporting them to leadership

• Organized and execution-minded; able to balance strategy with day-to-day work on a lean team

Preferred

• Experience in education, enrollment, or a multi-location/franchise environment

• Familiarity with marketing automation/CRM, Google Business Profile, and Canva

• Awareness of advertising compliance for accredited schools (outcomes and financial-aid messaging)

Benefits:

• 401(k)

• Dental insurance

• Health insurance

• Paid time off

• Vision insurance
