COO/ EOS Integrator

Boise, IDstrategicfinanceoperationsoperations

President

EOS Integrator • Operations + Finance • Boise HQ (three markets)

Bring culture to life. Build community. Help shape what comes next.

Our client is a B-Corp certified commercial interiors company and the only B-Corp certified commercial furniture dealer in the world. Founded as a family business in 1985 and now operating across Boise, Spokane, and the Tri-Cities, our client runs on EOS and is growing intentionally and strategically.

Our client is hiring a President to lead the company day to day so the CEO can remain focused in the Visionary seat. This is an Integrator role with meaningful operational and financial accountability across three markets. The right leader will own execution, operational discipline, and financial performance while helping guide the organization into its next stage of growth.

The Opportunity

This is an Integrator-first role. The CEO owns the vision, strategy, and founder leadership seat. This role owns execution — accountability systems, operational cadence, issue resolution, and the financial rigor required to turn strategy into measurable results.

This is not simply a CFO role with operations attached, nor is it a traditional COO role.

The successful candidate will bring a strong blend of operational leadership, financial acumen, and EOS execution capability.

The two most critical capabilities in this seat are:

  • Creating operational consistency across multiple non-identical markets
  • Leading with strong financial discipline under real business constraints

What the First 18 Months Will Look Like

Own the numbers

  • Lead the consolidated P&L across all three markets
  • Present financial performance and business health to leadership and banking partners
  • Drive forecasting, budgeting, and accountability to plan

Deliver the plan

Support achievement of the company’s growth and profitability objectives, including:

  • Revenue growth targets
  • NIAT goals
  • Booking performance metrics
  • Long-range financial and operational milestones

Manage concentration and growth risk

  • Build systems and models that reduce overreliance on key accounts
  • Create disciplined approaches to diversification and capital allocation
  • Evaluate operational and financial risk proactively

Strengthen multi-market operations

  • Continue operational integration and maturity across acquired markets
  • Improve consistency without eliminating the unique strengths of each location
  • Build scalable systems that allow markets to operate independently and effectively

Run the operating system

  • Lead EOS execution across the organization
  • Facilitate Level 10 meetings, quarterly Rocks, scorecards, and accountability systems
  • Help leadership teams prioritize and execute effectively

What You’ll Own

Turning vision into execution

  • Translate strategic direction into actionable operational plans
  • Ensure priorities are clearly communicated and executed
  • Build systems that allow the organization to scale effectively

Financial leadership

  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range financial planning
  • Own cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
  • Evaluate investments, growth opportunities, and operational tradeoffs

Operational excellence

  • Develop meaningful KPIs and accountability measures
  • Improve workflows, systems, and cross-functional coordination
  • Standardize processes where beneficial while preserving local market strengths

Leadership and culture

  • Develop leaders and strengthen organizational capability
  • Foster accountability and high performance
  • Support and strengthen the organization’s B-Corp values and culture

Required Experience

Qualified candidates will bring most or all of the following:

  • Direct EOS Integrator experience or equivalent operational leadership experience under a founder-led organization
  • Multi-site or multi-market P&L responsibility
  • Strong financial leadership capabilities with CFO-level fluency
  • Experience implementing operational process across diverse teams or locations
  • Sound judgment around capital allocation, growth, and risk management
  • Alignment with mission-driven, values-based, family-business environments

This Role May Not Be the Right Fit If…

  • You have held senior titles without direct P&L ownership
  • You are seeking a pathway into the CEO seat rather than embracing the Integrator role itself
  • You believe all markets should operate identically regardless of local dynamics
  • You strongly prefer large corporate, PE-backed, or highly layered organizational structures

Leadership Impact

The leadership team is seeking an Integrator who will:

  • Strengthen organizational accountability
  • Improve leadership alignment
  • Develop emerging leaders throughout the company
  • Absorb operational complexity so the CEO can remain focused on vision and strategy

The strongest candidates will demonstrate a history of:

  • Building highly aligned leadership teams
  • Developing strong successor and leadership pipelines
  • Creating accountability systems that improve organizational execution
  • Enabling CEOs and founders to focus more strategically because operations were firmly under control

Compensation

This role carries significant operational and financial accountability and will be compensated accordingly.

Compensation includes:

  • Competitive base salary
  • Meaningful performance-based incentives
  • Long-term ownership participation opportunities aligned with a partner-level leadership role

Specific compensation details will be discussed early in the process.
