She wrote about it as it happened, in short posts counted out by the day. Those posts are collected here. They are lightly edited for length, but the voice and the details are hers, written at the time and not tidied up afterwards. The company launched as Route Networking Group and is known today as RNG Group; the original name is kept below where the story depends on it. Day 1: Finding my route Here we are, finding my route. Rather, I should probably say "here I am", because that is all that "we" are right now. Route Networking Group, LLC, or Route for short. It is just me and you for this brief moment of time. Me and you, and a big, fat, beautifully overwhelming idea that is turning into a business. As of about an hour ago I submitted Route's Certificate of Organization to the Idaho Secretary of State, so that by the time I reach Idaho next week (merely a twenty-five hour drive away from Dallas, oof) the company will be ready to operate as its own entity. With that, Route will be more than just "me". It will become "we", a network of businesses and professionals with a common interest in finding routes to long-term careers and meaningful employment for people... Industries We Serve RNG Group recruits permanent, direct-hire talent for employers across the Mountain West and Pacific Northwest. We are not a temp agency and we do not do contract staffing — every search we run is for a role you intend someone to stay in. Founded in Boise in 2015 and women-owned, we work across six sectors. Pick yours below, or talk to us about a role that does not fit neatly into one. Where we recruit Technology & Software Development — engineers, data, IT and product Architecture, Engineering & Construction — project delivery and design Manufacturing & Consumer Goods — plant, quality and supply chain Healthcare & Life Sciences — clinical support, operations and biotech Food & Beverage Production — production, food safety and operations Business & Professional Services — finance, accounting, HR, sales and marketing Looking for leadership rather than an individual contributor? See executive search. Why sector matters in a small market In a market the size of Boise, the shortlist for a specialist role is often measured in dozens of people, not thousands — and most of them are not looking. Sector knowledge is what separates a recruiter who can name those people from one who can only search job boards. It also means we can tell you early when a role is mis-scoped or mis-priced for the local market, rather than three months in. We recruit across 29 Northwest markets, covering Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Utah and Nevada. Hiring for this team? Tell us... Executive Search RNG Group runs executive and leadership searches for employers across the Mountain West and Pacific Northwest — the CTOs, VPs, directors and heads of function whose hire changes how a company performs. These searches work differently from filling an individual contributor role. The people worth hiring are not looking, they will not respond to a job posting, and the conversation has to be worth their time before they will take a call. That is relationship work, which is what we were built to do. Roles we search for CTOs, VPs of Engineering and Heads of Product CFOs, VPs of Finance and Controllers COOs and VPs of Operations VPs of Sales and Chief Revenue Officers Heads of People and HR Directors Plant and general managers Practice and division leadership How an executive search runs Scope. We work out what the role actually needs to achieve in its first year — which is often not what the job description says. Map the market. We identify the people doing that job well, including those who are not looking and will not apply. Approach. Discreetly and individually. Confidential searches stay confidential, including when we are replacing someone still in post. Assess. Against how your leadership team actually operates, not a generic competency grid. Close. Senior candidates are lost at offer stage more often than at interview. We stay involved through resignation and start date. Why a Boise firm for a leadership hire National search firms will run your search from somewhere else,... Technology & Software Development Recruiting RNG Group recruits permanent software and IT talent for employers across Boise and the wider Northwest. Every placement is direct-hire — we do not supply contractors — so the people we introduce are people you are hiring to keep. Roles we fill Software engineers — front end, back end and full stack DevOps, platform and cloud infrastructure engineers Data engineers, analysts and analytics leads QA and test automation IT systems, network and security Product managers and technical program managers Engineering leadership — see executive search Why Boise tech hiring is its own problem Boise has drawn technology employers for the same reasons people move here, and the result is a market where demand for senior engineers outstrips the number of people locally who have done the job before. Two things follow. First, the strongest candidates are usually employed and not applying. Second, relocation is a genuine part of the pitch — the cost-of-living and lifestyle case is real, but only if someone makes it properly. We have recruited technical teams here since 2015, including a local technical team for a Treasure Valley SaaS company. Do you recruit for contract or temporary technology roles? No. RNG Group places permanent, direct-hire employees only. If you need contract cover, we are not the right partner and will say so at the first conversation. Can you recruit engineers who are not already in Boise? Yes. We recruit across Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Utah and Nevada, and we regularly work... Architecture, Engineering & Construction Recruiting RNG Group recruits permanent staff for AEC employers across Idaho and the Northwest — the project managers, superintendents, estimators and design professionals who decide whether a job finishes on time. Roles we fill Project managers and senior project managers Superintendents and field leadership Estimators and preconstruction Project engineers and coordinators Architects, designers and BIM specialists Civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineers Safety and quality leads Why construction hiring fails on culture, not credentials Construction résumés look alike. Two project managers with the same years and the same project values can perform completely differently depending on how a business runs — self-perform versus subcontract, negotiated versus hard bid, how much autonomy a superintendent actually gets. That mismatch is what causes an expensive hire to leave inside a year. We screen for how someone works, not just what they have built, because in a market where everyone is chasing the same shortlist, retention is where the money actually is. Do you place trades and field labour? No. We recruit permanent salaried and professional staff. We do not supply hourly trades or temporary field labour — for that you want a trades staffing firm, and we will point you to one rather than waste your time. Which parts of the Northwest do you cover? Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Utah and Nevada, with the heaviest activity in the Treasure Valley. See markets we serve. How long does an AEC search usually take? It depends entirely on seniority, location and... Manufacturing & Consumer Goods Recruiting RNG Group recruits permanent manufacturing and operations staff for employers across Idaho and the Northwest — the plant leadership, quality and supply chain people who keep a line running. Roles we fill Plant and production managers Manufacturing, process and industrial engineers Quality managers, QA and regulatory staff Maintenance and reliability leadership Supply chain, planning and procurement Continuous improvement and lean specialists EHS and safety managers The skilled-labour gap is a hiring-process problem too Manufacturing employers in the Northwest are competing for a genuinely small pool of experienced people, and the shortage is real. But a slow or unclear hiring process turns a hard search into an impossible one: the strongest candidates in this sector are typically employed, cautious about moving, and gone within days if they get a faster offer elsewhere. We spend as much time on making your process decisive as we do on sourcing, because in this sector that is usually what loses the hire. Do you recruit hourly production workers? No. We place permanent salaried and professional roles. High-volume hourly production hiring is a different business and we are not it. Do you work with food and beverage manufacturers? Yes — that is a distinct enough market that it has its own page. See food and beverage production recruiting. Can you help scope the role before we post it? Yes, and we would rather do that than run a search against a job description that will not attract anyone. That includes an... Healthcare & Life Sciences Recruiting RNG Group recruits permanent staff for healthcare and life sciences employers across the Northwest — the operational, laboratory and administrative roles that keep clinical teams supported. Roles we fill Practice and clinic operations managers Revenue cycle, billing and coding leadership Laboratory and research staff Quality, compliance and regulatory affairs Medical device and biotech commercial roles Healthcare finance, HR and administration Hiring around a workforce that is already stretched Healthcare employers rarely have the luxury of a slow search: an unfilled operations or revenue-cycle role lands directly on people who are already at capacity. At the same time, a bad hire in a compliance-sensitive function is more costly than a vacancy. We work to a shortlist you can actually act on quickly, and we are candid when a role is going to be hard to fill at the offered range rather than leaving you to find out slowly. Do you place doctors, nurses or other licensed clinical staff? Generally no. Our strength is the operational, laboratory, commercial and administrative side of healthcare. If you need licensed clinical recruiting we will tell you plainly that it is not our specialism. Do you work with biotech and medical device companies? Yes — across quality, regulatory, laboratory and commercial roles. Where do you recruit? Idaho, Washington, Oregon, Montana, Utah and Nevada. See markets we serve. Food & Beverage Production Recruiting RNG Group recruits permanent staff for food and beverage producers across Idaho and the Northwest — production leadership, food safety, quality and supply chain roles in one of the region's defining industries. Roles we fill Plant and production managers Food safety and QA managers (HACCP, SQF, BRC) Process and packaging engineers R&D and product development Supply chain, planning and logistics Maintenance and sanitation leadership Food safety credentials narrow the pool fast Food and beverage hiring has a hard constraint most sectors do not: a quality or safety lead needs specific certifications and audit experience, and in a regional market the number of people who genuinely have them is small. Widening the search geographically is often the only realistic answer — which makes the relocation case, and the speed of your process, decisive. Idaho's food production base runs well beyond the obvious. Twin Falls in particular has built a genuine cluster. Do you place seasonal or line staff? No. We recruit permanent salaried and professional roles only. Can you recruit for a plant outside Idaho? Yes — we work across Washington, Oregon, Montana, Utah and Nevada as well. How do you handle confidential replacement searches? Discreetly, and without advertising the role. If you are replacing someone still in post, tell us at the outset and we will run it accordingly. Business & Professional Services Recruiting RNG Group recruits permanent professional staff for employers across the Northwest — the finance, accounting, HR, sales and marketing people who run the business behind the product. Roles we fill Controllers, accounting managers and senior accountants Financial analysts and FP&A HR managers, business partners and talent leads Sales representatives, account executives and sales leadership Marketing managers, demand generation and content Operations and office leadership Customer success and support leadership The roles everyone underestimates Professional-services roles get treated as easy to fill because the titles are familiar. In practice a controller at a 40-person company and a controller at a 400-person company are different jobs, and hiring the wrong one is expensive in a way that takes a year to become obvious. These are also the roles where culture fit is least negotiable — a finance or HR lead who cannot work the way your leadership team works will not last, however strong the résumé. Do you recruit for small businesses as well as large employers? Yes. We work with organisations of all sizes across the Treasure Valley and the wider Northwest. Is there a minimum salary level you work at? Rather than publish a threshold, we will tell you straight whether a given role is one we can do well. If it is not, we would rather say so than take it on. Do you place senior leadership? Yes — for director level and above, see executive search. More on hiring in this sector How... First Name* Last Name* Email* Phone Referred by: Referred by email: Message ## Posts The cost of a bad hire is almost always higher than the number that comes to mind first. According to the U. S. Department of Labor, the average cost of a bad hire runs to as much as 30 percent of the employee’s first-year earnings. On a $60,000 role, that is $18,000 gone before you start the search over. On a $100,000 role, that is $30,000. And those figures only capture the costs associated with the salary itself, and they are what you can measure directly. The real damage of a bad hire extends far beyond the salary line, and most business owners never account for it. If you have watched a wrong hire play out inside your team, you already know this. The ripple effects touch productivity, company culture, and the clients you work hard to keep. Here is what the financial impact looks like in dollars and in practice, and what you can do to lower the risk before your next recruitment process begins. For the full picture of what hiring costs before you factor in a bad outcome, start with our guide to the real cost of hiring in Boise. The Hidden Costs of a Bad Hire The salary is the obvious part. It is everything underneath it that adds up fast, and these hidden costs are where a single bad hire can cost a company far more than the payroll line suggests. Lost productivity. Someone in the wrong seat rarely performs at full capacity. Whether they... Hiring someone in Boise costs more than their salary, and most business owners find that out the hard way. When you add up advertising, onboarding, lost productivity, and employer taxes, the true average cost to hire typically runs between $4,000 and $20,000 depending on the role, and that is before you account for what happens if the hire does not work out. Here is what every Boise employer needs to know before they post that next job. What Cost Per Hire Actually Means Cost per hire is the total amount a company spends to fill one open position. It is not just the salary. It is every dollar that touches the hiring process from the moment you decide you need someone to the day that person is fully productive in the role. Most business owners think about the obvious line items: a job board posting, maybe a background check. What they miss is the internal cost of all the hours their team spends sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. When you factor in a hiring manager spending 10 to 15 hours on a single hire, HR time, and the productivity gap while the seat sits empty, the number climbs fast. The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) puts the average cost per hire at around $5,475 across all company sizes. For specialized or senior roles, that number regularly exceeds $20,000 to $35,000. In a market like Boise, where competition for quality talent is tighter than people expect, those costs skew even... The cost per hire (CPH) formula is straightforward: add up all internal and external recruiting costs, then divide by the total number of hires in that period. The hard part is knowing what to count. Learn how to calculate CPH with these simple steps to calculate the metric, and you can benchmark and optimize every search. This article walks through the formula, a worked example, and a free calculator so you can run your own numbers in under five minutes. If you want the full picture of what hiring costs beyond the formula itself, start with our overview of the real cost of hiring. The Cost Per Hire Formula Cost Per Hire = (Internal Costs + External Costs) ÷ Number of Hires That is the whole thing. Every variation you will find online is a version of this same equation. This CPH formula is the standard used across talent acquisition and HR teams to calculate CPH consistently, and the key is being honest about what goes into each bucket. Internal costs are everything your team spends internally: the hours your HR staff, hiring managers, and interviewers put into the process, each valued at their hourly rate. External costs are every dollar that leaves the company: job board fees, background checks, assessments, agency fees, and any other vendor or tool you pay to support the search. Number of hires is the total headcount brought on during the specific period you are measuring. Divide your total recruiting cost by that number and... An open seat is the only line item in your hiring budget that grows while you do nothing. Every week a role goes unfilled, the work either doesn't get done or gets absorbed by people who already have full plates. Either way, it has a dollar value. Use the free calculator below to run the cost per hire formula on your own numbers; internal costs plus external costs, divided by the number of hires and see your cost of vacancy alongside it for the complete financial picture of an open role. If you want the full breakdown of everything hiring costs before you start, read our guide to the real cost of hiring, and our walkthrough of how to calculate CPH. Reliable project teams do not happen by accident. In construction, every hire affects timelines, communication, productivity, and how smoothly work moves from one phase to the next. When the right people are in place, projects stay organized and teams stay steady. When the wrong people are hired, even strong operations can start feeling strain. That is why Boise construction staffing matters so much for companies that want consistency. The goal is not only to fill roles. It is to build teams that can handle pressure, work well together, and support long-term growth across projects. Construction Teams Need More Than Headcount A lot of hiring problems begin when employers focus only on getting a body into a role. That approach may solve an immediate gap, but it does not always solve the real issue. Construction teams need people who can actually contribute in the field, communicate clearly, and match the pace of the work. A company may have enough people on paper and still struggle on the ground. That usually happens when the team lacks the right mix of leadership, trade experience, accountability, and fit. Strong Boise construction staffing is about building that mix with more intention. Reliable teams are built role by role. Why Reliability Matters So Much in Construction In some industries, a weak hire creates inconvenience. In construction, it can create project delays. If one key person underperforms, communication can suffer, timelines can slip, and the rest of the team often ends up carrying extra weight. That pressure... A lot of companies start looking for hiring help when the pressure is already high. A role has been open too long. The team is stretched. Managers are losing time. Growth is starting to slow because the right people are not in place. That is usually when the search for an Idaho staffing agency begins. But choosing the right partner is not just about filling a vacancy. For companies that care about long-term growth, the real goal is finding a hiring partner that can improve candidate quality, support better fit, and help the business build a stronger team over time. RNG Group positions itself as a Boise-based recruiting and staffing partner focused on full-time, direct-hire placements, culture-first recruiting, and local talent expertise across Boise and the Northwest.   Not Every Staffing Partner Solves the Same Problem This is where many employers go wrong. They assume every staffing provider offers roughly the same thing, so the choice comes down to speed or price. In reality, different firms are built for very different kinds of hiring outcomes. Some focus on short-term coverage. Others focus on long-term team growth. If the company wants stable, full-time hires who fit the business well and stay, then the right Idaho staffing agency should offer more than quick resume flow. It should bring a process that supports stronger decisions from the start. That difference matters more than the label. Start With the Type of Growth the Business Is Trying to Support Before choosing a staffing partner, an... A lot of employers use the terms staffing firm and staffing agency like they mean the exact same thing. In everyday conversation, that is common. But when a business is trying to improve hiring results, the difference matters more than people think. The words may overlap, yet the service model, hiring style, and long-term outcome can look very different depending on who is involved and what the company actually needs. That is why a clear hiring firm comparison can help employers make better decisions. Some businesses need short-term coverage. Others need a long-term hiring partner that can help them find people who fit the culture, strengthen the team, and stay. Once that distinction becomes clear, it gets much easier to choose the right kind of support. Why Employers Often Confuse the Two The confusion makes sense. Both a staffing firm and a staffing agency help companies find people. Both can support growth. Both can reduce pressure on internal teams. And both are often described with similar language in the market. The real difference usually comes down to how the company hires and what kind of result it wants. Some employers need immediate help covering work. Others need a more thoughtful search process for full-time hires. That difference shapes everything from candidate sourcing to screening to long-term fit. What a Staffing Agency Usually Means A staffing agency is often associated with helping employers fill roles quickly. That may include temporary work, project-based placements, seasonal support, or contract hiring depending on the... Hiring is easy to underestimate. A company opens a role, reviews a few resumes, interviews some candidates, and hopes one of them works out. When that hire sticks, the process feels fine. When it does not, the real cost becomes obvious very quickly. That is why many growing companies start looking more seriously at what a recruiting agency actually brings to the table. A good recruiting partner does more than help fill open roles. It improves hiring quality, reduces wasted time, and helps businesses make decisions that lead to stronger retention. In other words, it helps companies hire people who are not only qualified, but also more likely to succeed and stay. Hiring Quality Affects Everything A strong hire improves more than one department. The right person can lift team morale, strengthen productivity, reduce pressure on managers, and help the business move faster. A weak hire tends to do the opposite. Even if that person looks good on paper, poor fit often shows up in communication issues, lower output, and early turnover. That is why hiring quality matters so much. It is not only about whether someone accepts the offer. It is about whether they perform well, fit the team, and create lasting value after they start. This is where the real hiring agency benefits begin to show. A stronger process usually leads to stronger people. Why Internal Hiring Sometimes Falls Short Many businesses try to handle every hire internally. That makes sense in theory. Internal teams know the company,... Some roles look difficult from the beginning. Others only become difficult after the hiring process is already underway. A company posts the position, gets a handful of resumes, runs a few interviews, and realizes none of the candidates feel right. Then the search keeps dragging on. Internal teams get frustrated. Managers start losing time. The open role begins affecting deadlines, morale, and momentum. That is usually the moment when employers start asking whether it is time to work with an Idaho Recruiting agency. The answer depends on more than how long the role has been open. It depends on how specialized the position is, how much internal hiring capacity the company has, how expensive the delay has become, and how much the wrong hire could hurt the business. For hard-to-fill roles, outside support is often not just helpful. It is the smarter move. What Makes a Role Hard to Fill Not every difficult search is difficult for the same reason. Sometimes the role requires a rare mix of experience. Sometimes the salary is not aligned with the market. Sometimes the employer needs someone with technical strength and a very specific personality fit. In other cases, the hiring process itself may be slowing things down. A role usually becomes hard to fill when one or more of these issues show up at the same time: the candidate pool is limited the skills required are specialized the role has direct business impact the internal team lacks time to run a deep search... Construction hiring in Idaho can move from manageable to frustrating very quickly. A company may start with one open role and assume it will be filled in a few weeks. Then the search stretches out, projects keep moving, current staff take on more responsibility, and leadership starts feeling the pressure. That is why idaho construction recruiting needs a more focused strategy than simply posting a job and waiting. When construction companies want to find skilled talent faster, they need a hiring process built around market awareness, better outreach, stronger screening, and a clear understanding of what the role actually demands. Speed matters, but so does fit. In construction, the wrong hire creates problems almost as quickly as an unfilled seat. Why Construction Hiring in Idaho Feels So Competitive Idaho has seen continued growth across many areas of construction. That growth creates opportunity, but it also creates competition. Companies are often hiring for the same types of roles at the same time. Experienced project managers, estimators, superintendents, field leaders, and trade professionals can have several options in front of them. That makes Idaho construction hiring more challenging than many employers expect. The issue is not always a lack of candidates. The real issue is that the strongest candidates are usually working already, and they are careful about where they move next. They are not interested in wasting time on vague job descriptions, disorganized interview processes, or companies that cannot explain what success in the role actually looks like. Hiring faster starts... Construction hiring is rarely simple. On paper, a role may look straightforward. A company needs a superintendent, project manager, estimator, field engineer, or someone with a strong skilled trades background. The title is clear, the need is real, and the timeline feels urgent. Then the search begins. That is when many employers realize that construction hiring is not just about finding someone with the right job title. It is about finding someone who understands the pace of the work, fits the team, communicates well on projects, and can perform in the local market. That is exactly why Boise construction recruiting requires more than a generic hiring approach. The right recruiting process needs local knowledge, strong industry relationships, and a real understanding of what construction employers in Boise are facing right now. Construction Hiring in Boise Has Its Own Challenges Boise continues to grow, and that growth affects construction hiring in obvious ways. As more residential, commercial, infrastructure, and development work moves forward, companies compete for many of the same people. Experienced candidates often have multiple options. Skilled workers may already be tied to a project. Some professionals are open to moving, but only if the opportunity truly makes sense. That creates pressure for employers. A delayed hire can affect timelines, increase workloads for current staff, and slow project momentum. In construction, one missing person can have a ripple effect across teams, subcontractors, and deadlines. This is why construction hiring Boise employers deal with often feels more urgent than hiring in... Every company reaches a point where hiring starts taking more energy than expected. At first, it may seem manageable. A manager posts a job, reviews resumes, sets up interviews, and hopes the right person appears. Then the search drags on. Applications start coming in, but most are not a fit. Internal teams get busy. Interviews get delayed. Strong candidates lose interest. Before long, the open role starts affecting the rest of the business. That is usually when employers begin comparing a Boise Recruitment Firm with in-house hiring and asking which option actually makes more sense. The honest answer is that both approaches can work. It depends on the role, the urgency, the internal bandwidth, and how much structure already exists inside the company. For many Idaho employers, the better choice is not about replacing internal hiring altogether. It is about knowing when outside support creates better results. What In-House Hiring Does Well Internal hiring has obvious advantages. No one knows the company better than the people already inside it. Internal teams understand the culture, the day-to-day challenges, and the kind of personality that usually fits well. They also know how the business operates and what success looks like once someone starts. That can make internal hiring feel more natural. In-house hiring can also work well when the company already has a strong talent function, enough time to manage the process, and a role that regularly attracts good applicants. If the business has a healthy employer brand and a steady flow... Hiring feels different when the market is tight. You are not only trying to fill an open role. You are trying to win the attention of qualified people who may already have a good job, a stable team, and other options on the table. That is where a Boise Recruiting Firm becomes valuable. In a competitive hiring market, the right recruiting partner helps employers move with more clarity, more confidence, and a better understanding of what strong candidates actually want. Instead of relying only on job postings and internal bandwidth, businesses can use a more focused process that improves hiring quality from the start. For growing companies, that kind of support can save time, reduce stress, and lead to better long-term hires. Why Competitive Markets Change the Hiring Process In an easier market, employers can post a role and expect a steady stream of applicants. In a competitive one, that approach often falls short. Good candidates do not stay available for long. Many are already employed. Others are selective and only respond to opportunities that feel right. That means employers need more than visibility. They need a hiring process that stands out. This is one reason businesses begin looking for Boise hiring support when open roles stay unfilled longer than expected. The challenge is not always a lack of people. Sometimes it is a lack of process, speed, or positioning. What a Boise Recruiting Firm Really Brings to the Table A strong recruiting firm does much more than pass resumes... Hiring can look simple from the outside. A company opens a role, posts the job, reviews resumes, interviews a few people, and makes an offer. In reality, it rarely works that smoothly. For many growing businesses, hiring becomes one of the most time-consuming and expensive parts of growth. That is why working with a Boise Recruiting Agency can make such a big difference. Instead of treating hiring like a numbers game, the right partner helps companies find people who truly fit the role, the team, and the long-term direction of the business. In a market like Boise, where strong candidates often have options, speed matters. So does clarity. So does local knowledge. And most importantly, so does human judgment. A recruiting partner can help bring all of that together. Why Hiring Gets Harder as a Company Grows A lot of business owners assume hiring will get easier once the company becomes more established. Sometimes the opposite happens. As a business grows, every hire starts carrying more weight. A poor fit in a small team creates disruption fast. A delayed hire can slow down projects, reduce productivity, and put pressure on the people already in place. That pressure becomes even more noticeable when hiring managers are already juggling operations, client work, leadership, and planning. This is where many companies begin looking for Boise recruiters who understand how to step in and support growth without turning the hiring process into more stress. A strong recruiting process is not only about filling a... What does it mean when we say we are industry agnostic? This is one of the most common questions we receive clients and candidates. “Industry agnostic” can sound broad, and in recruiting, broad is often misunderstood as unfocused. For RNG Group, it means something very different. It means we operate as a holistic talent partner, capable of supporting your organization across functions, growth stages, and evolving business needs. Most recruiting firms choose a lane. They specialize in one industry or one job function and build their identity around that niche. While that model can create depth in a narrow category, it can also create blind spots. When a recruiter is limited to a single vertical, the talent pool narrows before the search even begins, and hiring decisions become confined to familiar titles and predictable career paths. Our approach is different. We Wear Many Hats so You Don’t Have To Our approach reflects how businesses grow, especially in the Northwest. We recruit across sales, marketing, manufacturing, finance, engineering, accounting, human resources, IT, production, development, technology, and operations (truly any industry), placing candidates from entry-level professionals to executive leadership. That range is intentional. It allows us to understand how departments interact, how leadership decisions impact execution, and how early hires influence long-term trajectory. Hiring is not a series of isolated transactions; it is the ongoing construction of a team. Being industry agnostic gives us the perspective required to support that process thoughtfully. For startups and smaller companies, this advantage becomes even more... In October 2023, Boise, Idaho, was an outlier among the most desirable technology locations in the country. Boise—boasting a vibrant economy, affordable living, and high quality of life—is the West Coast's next great tech oasis. With companies such as Micron Technology and HP setting up significant operations in the city, the need for tech talent has exploded. Tech staffing agencies are essential in solving businesses' aforementioned recruitment challenges. Why Boise Is The Next Great Tech Hotspot In recent years, Boise has transformed from a sleepy, mid-sized city into a bustling hub for technology and innovation. The tech giants on this map, like Micron, are pouring billions of dollars into manufacturing operations in the city, building factories, and attracting the likes of Intel, AMD, and Amazon into the area. Clearwater Analytics and Cradlepoint are among a number of companies giving Boise its rightful place on the tech industry's map and zoomed-in talent from throughout the country. This progress, however, has posed a significant issue for local businesses: recruiting skilled individuals to satisfy the needs of a growing sector. Enter tech staffing agencies in Boise — the unsung heroes of the tech boom who bridge the gap between our booming tech field and seeking cutting-edge talent to push this momentum forward. The Role of Tech Staffing Agencies in Addressing Staffing Challenges Tech staffing agencies play a key role in solving recruitment challenges associated with rapid technological growth. These agencies specialise in matching tech professionals with roles that match their skills and aspirations and, therefore, know which companies are looking for talent like you. They act... Why the right staffing decision shapes your schedule and budget Construction schedules do not slow down for hiring delays. Every day holds inspections, deliveries, and trade handoffs that depend on people being present and ready to work. Choose the wrong partner and you risk late starts, blown milestones, and crew churn. Choose well, and you gain steady hands, fewer callbacks, and predictable man-hours. If you are searching for a construction staffing agency near me, you need a clear checklist that turns a crowded market into a confident choice. A strong agency does more than send warm bodies. It understands your scope, screens for real skill, and protects safety culture. It also respects how projects actually run from mobilization to punch and closeout. The guidance below shows how to evaluate nearby recruiters so that site labor staffing strengthens your plan rather than becoming another risk. Start with proof that the agency understands your project Ask for recent placements that match your scopes Request three examples from the past quarter that mirror your current needs. If you are building interiors, you want carpenters and finishers who have delivered under tight timelines. If you are pouring slabs at scale, you want concrete crews with proven production rates. For each example, ask for time to shortlist, time to start, and retention through the first month. Real numbers beat vague assurances. Confirm fluency in both field and office roles. Your project team includes superintendents, assistant supers, project engineers, document control staff, and cost specialists. A... Why engineering hiring is unlike any other search Engineering teams turn ideas into systems that must work in the real world. A small mistake can ripple through safety, schedule, and cost. That is why leaders who own delivery targets rely on engineering staffing agencies that understand both the science and the day-to-day realities of projects. These partners think in terms of requirements, constraints, and verification. They move quickly without gambling on guesswork. They bring discipline to intake, precision to screening, and clarity to closing so that each hire improves the system rather than adding risk. The market for engineering talent is both broad and deep. There are mechanical engineer jobs in product design and in plant reliability. Civil engineering recruitment covers land development, transportation, water resources, and construction support. Electrical and controls roles tie hardware to software and require fluency in standards and commissioning. Early career EIT hiring feeds the future bench, while searches for PE candidates carry licensure and public safety requirements. The right partner maps this landscape in your region and speaks the language of each discipline. What a high-performing engineering recruiter looks like Fluency across disciplines and industries A credible recruiter can explain how a mechanical designer approaches tolerance stack analysis, how a civil engineer prepares a drainage report for a municipal review, and how a controls engineer sequences a start procedure. They know the difference between a reliability engineer in a batch food plant and in a continuous process line. When a recruiter speaks this way,... Why tech hiring requires a different approach Software teams move fast. Product roadmaps evolve weekly, priorities shift with customer feedback, and codebases change as features mature. This pace demands developers who can understand context, learn quickly, and collaborate without friction. Filling these roles is not simply a matter of searching for programming languages on a resume. It requires careful understanding of architecture choices, workflow habits, communication styles, and long-term team fit. This is where experienced tech recruiting companies step in. They pair technical insight with structured hiring processes to ensure your next developer strengthens velocity, not slows it. They know how to build a pipeline of engineers who care about problem-solving, rather than just checking skills off a list. They also understand how to support both early-stage startups and established tech organizations whose needs differ in tempo and risk tolerance. What makes a strong tech recruiter stand out Fluency in engineering culture and workflows A capable tech recruiter understands how teams structure sprints, reviews, documentation, and deployments. They can speak about frontend frameworks, backend patterns, cloud environments, and CI pipelines in practical terms. This fluency allows them to hold meaningful intake conversations with engineering leadership and translate vague needs into precise search criteria. Access to relevant developer communities Software engineers gather in specific spaces: Discord groups, open source discussions, local meetups, hackathons, online collectives, and specialized forums. A strong recruiter maintains a genuine presence in these circles. They do not simply broadcast roles. They contribute, support discussions, and build relationships... Why IT hiring demands more than keyword searches Information systems shape how a company serves customers, protects data, and scales. A single weak hire can slow a product release or leave a security gap. That is why information technology recruiters matter. The best partners look past buzzwords and vendor logos. They align talent to outcomes that support reliability, security, and user experience. They understand architecture patterns, team rituals, and the difference between keeping systems stable and evolving them with care. In many companies, the same department owns service quality and change delivery. That creates tension. You want people who can troubleshoot a midnight outage and also build automation that prevents the next one. Strong IT staffing solutions resolve this tension by screening for both judgment and craft. The result is a pipeline of candidates who can own a runbook today and improve it tomorrow. What great information technology recruiters actually do Translate business goals into technical outcomes A good recruiter will not start with a long list of tools. They begin with outcomes. Reduce ticket backlog for the service desk. Improve recovery time for production incidents. Raise endpoint compliance to a known standard. Deliver a secure landing zone in the cloud for a new product team. When outcomes are clear, you can judge candidates by impact rather than tool trivia. Map the real constraints that shape success. Every environment has constraints. Legacy systems that cannot be replaced this year. Compliance rules that require specific audit trails. A budget that favors... Why leadership hiring in technology is different. Technology leadership roles are not only about writing code or reviewing architecture diagrams. They shape how teams learn, how decisions are made, and how strategy becomes working systems. A CTO, VP of Engineering, or Head of Engineering influences product timelines, quality habits, vendor relationships, and the pace of innovation. A strong leader builds clarity and trust. A weak one creates confusion and churn. Because the stakes are high, companies often work with technology executive recruiters who specialize in these searches. They know the difference between someone who can talk strategy and someone who can actually guide teams through complex delivery. They understand how to evaluate judgment, communication style, change maturity, and the ability to create systems that scale. A poor leadership hire can set a company back a year. A strong one can accelerate growth for three years or more. This is why executive search requires more rigor, more discretion, and a more thoughtful process than traditional technical recruiting. What strong technology executive recruiters do differently They translate business goals into leadership outcomes Instead of beginning with a list of required technologies, seasoned recruiters start by asking what the organization expects this leader to accomplish. Will this person unify multiple engineering teams under one delivery rhythm? Will they lead a cloud migration? Will they transform quality culture? Will they rebuild hiring systems? Understanding outcomes defines the type of leader required. The search becomes purposeful rather than reactive. They map organization structure and team... Why healthcare hiring is different Healthcare hiring is not simply about filling a seat. Every nurse, therapist, technologist, coordinator, or physician assistant touches patient outcomes, safety, and experience. A single mismatch can ripple across shift coverage, clinical throughput, and quality metrics. The best healthcare recruiters understand that speed matters, but never at the expense of competence, bedside manner, and regulatory compliance. They build hiring programs that move fast while protecting what matters most inside a hospital or clinic. The stakes are high. Census swings can strain teams. Seasonal illness waves can push demand beyond planned staffing. Specialized equipment requires talent that can use it correctly from day one. This environment rewards a recruiter who blends deep clinical understanding with rigorous process and clear communication. What a clinical-grade recruiter looks like Mastery of unit-level realities Strong healthcare recruiters do more than read job descriptions. They can describe how a med-surg unit runs during a busy evening, how an ambulatory surgery center schedules first cases, and why a rural clinic weighs generalist skill sets differently than a large urban facility. This shows up in intake calls that dig into census patterns, patient acuity, coverage gaps, and the soft skills that make a candidate thrive on a specific team. A network that spans the care continuum Healthcare systems depend on many roles. Registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, respiratory therapists, medical laboratory scientists, radiologic technologists, surgical technologists, sterile processing staff, pharmacy techs, behavioral health aides, case managers, and revenue cycle specialists all keep the... Why Idaho needs a statewide approach to talent Idaho is growing in remarkable ways. Boise and the Treasure Valley continue to attract technology startups, professional services, and advanced manufacturing. Idaho Falls and Pocatello drive energy and research. Twin Falls and the Magic Valley maintain a strong base in food processing and agribusiness. Coeur d’Alene blends hospitality with construction and real estate. Each region moves at its own pace, faces unique candidate expectations, and competes for distinct skill sets. Hiring leaders who treat Idaho as one uniform market often experience stalled searches and rising vacancies. A better path is to work with an Idaho recruiting agency that understands statewide hiring and can pivot by region while still offering you a single coordinated program. A true statewide partner maps the Gem State job market in detail. They know which communities graduate reliable technicians, which local programs produce new nurses or EITs, and which seasonal cycles affect acceptance rates. They also understand cost-of-living differences and commuting patterns that influence offer decisions. That knowledge makes every step more precise, from the intake call to the final offer. What a statewide partner looks like One strategy, many local playbooks A capable Idaho staffing firm builds a single hiring strategy that supports your brand and culture. Under that strategy, the firm deploys local playbooks tailored to Boise, Idaho Falls, Twin Falls, and the Panhandle. Each playbook lists go-to channels, salary norms, credential expectations, and outreach messages that fit the local community. Your team gets the speed... Recruiter Boise companies know the unique requirements of the Boise market and can target their searches accordingly to match candidates with job openings. Boise... Why construction hiring is its own challenge Construction does not pause when hiring lags. Every day on the schedule has material arrivals, inspections, and coordinated work among several trades. When a role stays open, the ripple touches safety, quality, and budget. A construction recruiting agency works inside this reality. The best partners understand how superintendents sequence tasks, how project engineers control information flow, and how foremen keep crews productive. That insight shapes a process that brings you the right people on time, not simply a stack of resumes. Construction staffing solutions must handle seasonality, permit-driven starts, and surprise scope changes. A partner that treats the calendar as a living plan helps you move labor where it is needed and prevents last-minute scrambles. The result is fewer delays, tighter punch lists, and a steadier cash flow. What a specialized construction recruiter looks like Fluency in field and office roles A strong agency can discuss rebar placement, tilt wall sequencing, MEP coordination, and submittal registers with equal comfort. They grasp the difference between a superintendent who thrives on ground-up projects and one who excels at interiors. They know how a project coordinator supports RFIs and how a scheduler tells a story with logic ties. This fluency produces better intake calls and sharper shortlists. Real relationships in the trades Trades recruitment depends on trust. Electricians, plumbers, carpenters, equipment operators, and finishers respond to recruiters who have been in their orbit for years. The agency has contacts in apprenticeship programs and long-standing ties with... Why manufacturing staffing demands a different playbook Factories run on rhythm. Each shift ties people, materials, and machines into a sequence that must repeat with precision. When one role stays vacant, the ripple can stall a cell, miss a delivery window, or create overtime that hurts margins. Manufacturing staffing is not only about filling seats. It is about protecting throughput, safety, and quality while staying within a budget your plant can sustain. The best programs start with clarity. Leaders define the outputs a role must produce, the competencies required to support those outputs, and the working conditions that shape candidate success. A recruiter who understands factory recruitment can turn that clarity into faster shortlists, tighter interviews, and smoother starts. The goal is not just speed. It is speed with judgment. Understand your gaps through the lens of production flow Map the roles that move the line Every facility has a few roles that control flow. These often include the setup technician who prepares equipment for the first good part, the quality tech who confirms tolerances at the right intervals, and the team lead who balances stations when demand spikes. For precision factories, CNC machinist jobs and maintenance techs are often on that list. Knowing which roles move the line helps you prioritize which requisitions should receive the fastest recruiting attention and which can be staged for the next hiring wave. Translate production goals into role outcomes. Hiring becomes faster when every role has three to five outcomes tied to production.... This tech boom draws companies and tech pros alike to Boise, Idaho. Digital recruitment has seen sharp growth thanks to concerted efforts by the region's tech recruiters and agencies. They are tailored specifically for the Boise tech space and "create a space for a growing-moving tech community. " These agencies help tech companies source talent by connecting them with local talent and using specialized recruitment strategies. This partnership with recruiters and employers has put Boise on the map regarding the tech industry's future. The Tech Scene in Boise Boise's draw for tech workers is complex. The city provides a lower cost of living than many traditional tech hubs, a vibrant community, and a burgeoning startup culture. Micron's $15 billion manufacturing facility and similar significant investments have strengthened Boise's reputation as a tech hot spot. Tech Recruiters Boise – Strategies They are Using Developing Solid Local Networks In Boise, local tech recruiters focus on forming strong bonds with the tech community. They actively participate in industry events and local meetups and connect with educational institutions to understand emerging talent and industry trends. Given that, tech recruiters can find candidates who are technically capable and fit into Boise's distinct tech culture. How to leverage the tech recruitment agencies in Boise Using Boise-based tech recruitment agencies strengthens the recruiting process. By helping to match companies to strong applicants and vice versa, agencies such as RNG Group... Boise’s growth story and why it reshapes hiring Boise has been one of the most dynamic labor markets in the Mountain West. New arrivals bring fresh skills, local companies expand into new product lines, and long-standing employers compete harder for the same candidates. The result is a busy market where the time from requisition to accepted offer can decide whether a team hits its targets or misses them. In this environment, a trusted Boise recruiting agency becomes less of a vendor and more of a partner that understands the rhythm of Treasure Valley jobs and the expectations of Boise candidates. Local knowledge matters. Talent moves within networks that are specific to Boise neighborhoods, universities, trade programs, and industry groups. A firm with deep Boise staffing services has worked these channels for years and knows which meetups fill engineering roles, which trade schools graduate reliable entry-level technicians, and which suburban pockets yield dependable warehouse teams. Pair that with a disciplined process, and you get faster shortlists and a stronger fit. What local employers expect from a Boise staffing partner Proven pipelines across high-demand roles Companies in the valley consistently seek software developers, construction superintendents, machinists, medical support staff, account managers, and warehouse leads. A capable agency maintains warm pipelines for each of these categories and can show actual time to shortlist and time to offer for the past quarter. This turns vague promises into measurable service. Market intelligence that guides the search Hiring leaders often ask whether to aim for a... How to Become a Team Member Nobody Can Replace Understanding the qualities that top executives look for in their teams can significantly enhance your professional growth. At RNG, we work with CEO- and president-level leaders regularly, and we’ve seen firsthand what traits make a team member truly stand out. The sooner you can master these skills in your current role, the sooner you can achieve the professional goals you have always wanted to reach. Although they may seem obvious, they are necessary skills to get you ready for that next level of responsibility. 1. How to Read People Like a Pro (Emotional Intelligence) Emotional intelligence. The ability to understand and manage your own emotions and respond effectively to others’ emotions is one of the most critical traits for high-performing team members. EQ shapes how people handle interpersonal relationships, conflict, and stress. Research consistently shows that EQ predicts workplace success more reliably than IQ. For example, an employee who recognizes a colleague’s frustration in a meeting and adapts their communication to de-escalate tension demonstrates strong EQ. CEOs value this because it helps maintain collaboration and morale in high-pressure environments. Having a strong EQ adds value to the company far beyond your intellect as it helps build company culture centered around positive and healthy dynamics in the workplace. Actionable tip: Pause before reacting, ask questions to clarify, and mirror others’ energy to connect faster. 2. Master the Art of Rolling With Change The business world shifts quickly, and leaders value team members... Introduction As August comes to a close, we’re wrapping up Idaho’s inaugural Farmers Market Month, a celebration officially proclaimed by the Governor to honor our local markets and their role in connecting consumers to fresh, locally grown foods statewide. Looking back, it's evident that these markets are about so much more than produce. They are local business incubators, sustainability heroes, and economic engines for Boise and beyond. Let’s stroll through this season’s highlights, the grit behind the scenes, and why your continued support matters more than ever. Reflecting on Farmers Market Month and Local Business Connections August’s proclamation invited Idahoans to connect with local farmers and local businesses, learn about their personal connection to their products, and make it a habit to visit often. Throughout the month, directories and tools like Idaho Preferred’s Farmers Market Finder helped folks uncover markets by region, day, and program (including SNAP and Double Up Food Bucks participation). As the calendar flips, this isn’t just an ending but a moment to pause, reflect, and recommit. Sustainability at its Core At the heart of Boise Farmers Market is a commitment to sustainable agriculture and local ecology. Nearly 95% of its vendors sell food or agricultural goods, and everything is produced by the person selling it. That means shorter, greener supply chains, fresher produce, less packaging, and simpler traceability. According to the market’s own video series, “Sustainability at the Boise Farmers Market isn't just an aspiration... it's a value we share. ” (Boise Farmers Market) Buying a... Introduction Coffee shops have always been more than a morning stop—they’ve been gathering places, community hubs, and cultural landmarks. Over the past century, their role has evolved from modest cafés to full-blown social ecosystems where people come together to work, meet, create, and caffeinate. And no region has done more to shape that evolution than the Pacific Northwest. In our corner of the country, coffee isn’t just a beverage. It’s part of our rhythm—both personal and professional. From casual workdays to major company milestones, we’ve built entire experiences around local cafés. They’ve become the place where we meet, connect, plan, and grow. But long before remote workers and startup founders set up shop at corner tables, coffee culture had already been evolving—shaped by music, movements, and a shared desire to gather. From Jazz Cafés to Global Brands The Northwest’s obsession with coffee didn’t begin with Starbucks, though that’s certainly where it exploded into the mainstream. In the 1920s, jazz clubs like the Nanking Café in Portland used coffee as fuel for the night. The beatnik boom in the 1950s and the folk revival of the '60s turned small cafés into artistic incubators. But it was Pike Place Market in Seattle, 1971, where a quiet coffee revolution began—with the opening of the very first Starbucks by Jerry Baldwin, Zev Siegl, and Gordon Bowker. From that moment, coffee culture entered a new era. By the late 1980s, Starbucks had evolved into an importing and roasting powerhouse, and under Howard Schultz’s leadership, it... Introduction Sometimes the hardest part about hiring the right candidate is hiring one that will stay. It’s more common than you might think. In fact, 73% of job seekers say they’ve experienced cold feet after accepting a job offer. Sometimes that feeling leads to hesitation, anxiety, or even ghosting. For employers, this comes with financial and emotional strain as retention becomes increasingly difficult. According to Indeed, onboarding and hiring can cost between $4,000 and $20,000 per new employee and loosing that new hire can make the financial sacrifice all the more stressful. So, what’s behind these last-minute jitters? And more importantly, how can you stop them? Why Cold Feet Happen: The Psychology Behind It Fear of Change Even experienced professionals feel nervous about leaving what they know for something unfamiliar. A new company means new expectations, new relationships, and a new culture; all of that can be overwhelming. It’s natural to question whether the leap was the right one. Lack of Information or Transparency When people don’t have a full picture of what they’re walking into whether it’s compensation, benefits, work flexibility, job scope, it’s hard to feel confident. Pay and role transparency early in the process helps candidates gauge if the job fits their needs long before they apply. Without that clarity, uncertainty grows. The Fear of the Unknown Unspoken rules, team dynamics, how to ask for help, these all fall into the “unknown” category. A digital stack of onboarding forms won’t help someone feel like they belong. And... Introduction Utah's business landscape is booming, with industries like tech, healthcare, and construction growing at lightning speed. A Love Letter To The Working Mom There has never been, and will never be, a life change as pivotal for me as becoming a mom. My son popped into this world last September, and I was immediately changed. I went home from the hospital a new person. This is the best possible thing that could have happened to me, but, as any parent will tell you, it did not come without its challenges. Beyond needing to find my footing with a newborn and husband, and get through wild postpartum hormones, breastfeeding, and big emotions, I had to return to the real world. I had to return to social activities and, perhaps most importantly, I had to come back to work as an entirely new human being. I had a new order of priorities, a new perspective, and a hell of a lot to learn. Here is what I would share with any new parent about my experience in my first year as a working mom. Working Mom Lesson 1: Problems that seemed big before, seem much smaller now There’s nothing that holds a candle to the pressure of keeping a human being alive when they solely rely on you. That’s not to say that workplace pressures are suddenly unimportant, but my perspective totally shifted when I went back to work after having my baby. I was able to look at a problem and say “Well, this is hard, but I can look at this with a birds-eye-view and know... It's a great question and one that gets more important in the information era! Recently, I had the chance to unplug from work for an entire week so I could spend time with family in the Hawaiian Islands. During my vacation, I was able to detach from work concerns and fully immerse myself in the relaxing, yet eventful trip. Here’s are 3 strategies that helped me have both a personal rejuvenation and professional success. How can I unplug from work? Set Clear Boundaries: This trip felt different from the moment I left the office. I knew prior to leaving for a week I established clear boundaries which helped relieve the stress of work-related anxieties. Typically, even on a vacation, I’m one to always check my emails, make sure there’s no fires to put out, and will sometimes even do a bit of outreach in the mornings as it’s a personal struggle to never feel “behind” at work. However, due to the support of my team at RNG Group, I had a piece of mind that the team was set for success prior to my departure. This approach not only allowed me to immerse in the captivating beauty of the Hawaiian Islands but also positively impacted my mental health – allowing me to reset and recharge. Cultivate a Supportive Team Culture: At RNG Group, we have such a supportive team culture... Questions To Ask the Interviewer Questions to ask the interviewer may seem like the ultimate reverse uno card but we highly recommend it! While resumes provide a glimpse into your professional journey, it is during the interview process that you have the opportunity to truly shine. One aspect that often separates exceptional candidates from the rest is their ability to ask insightful questions. Here's why having prepared questions is crucial for your interview success. How does asking questions to the interviewer show my interest? First and foremost, asking questions demonstrates genuine interest and engagement. It shows that you've done your homework and are invested in the company and the role you're applying for. Recruiters are eager to see candidates who actively seek to understand the company's values, culture, and future aspirations. Why does asking questions to the interviewer benefit me? Second, asking questions allows you to gain deeper insights into the role and the company. Interviews are not merely one-sided; they are a chance for you to evaluate if the company aligns with your professional goals and values. Thoughtful questions can help uncover details about team dynamics, growth opportunities, and the company's overall vision. This information can help you make an informed decision about whether the role is the right fit for you. What questions can I ask in the interview? What does the team structure look like and how does the (title of role) fit within the organization? Will this individual be directly reporting to anyone, and if so,... So you're planning to use the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to find the perfect candidate? Oftentimes, in the quest to find the "perfect candidate," organizations will turn to Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). In hindsight, it's completely understandable, using an ATS reduces time, energy, and general administrative functions needed in hiring... or so they say. However, there are serious pitfalls and general misses that occur when relying heavily on using the Applicant Tracking System. Why? It boils down to the lack of human connection (that you'll most certainly get when you work with a recruiter) throughout the process! 4 Problems When Using The Applicant Tracking System Impersonal Screening - The ATS overlook qualified candidates with non-traditional backgrounds or skills. Clunky Communication - Applicant Tracking Systems often leave job seekers in the dark, with automated rejections and lack of feedback, leading to frustration. Limited creativity and innovation - Due to rigid keyword matching, the ATS stifles the discovery of top-talent with fresh perspectives and out-of-the-box thinking. Time-consuming configuration and implementation - Implementing and customizing an ATS can be a tedious and time-consuming process which adds administrative burden. At first glance, it can be hard for organizations to see the true value in working with an external recruiter to source that niche talent you're looking for. But, if you feel like you're hitting your head against a brick wall over and over again with your ATS efforts, it might be worth reconsidering a recruiting agency for the following reasons: Why Recruiters Matter Personalized... Not finding the right applicants? What you write in the job description is what you attract! Let's break down this all too common hiring problem... We know how important it is to find the right person for a vacancy and to do it quickly. So when clients come to us unable to find that person (often after spending weeks searching on their own), there is is a key reason they’re at a loss: The people that are attracted to the posting/job don’t fit the bill. They don’t have the experience necessary or don’t fit with the culture of your team. You find you’re spinning your wheels looking through hundreds of unqualified resumes, or worse yet, spending hundreds of hours meeting with misaligned candidates. But how did you get in this mess? Maybe you pulled out the old job description from the last time you looked at hiring this position. You blew off the metaphorical (or literal, depending on how long it’s been) dust that’s settled and reposted! That's the worst thing you could do! Before we march down “Bad Habit” way, let’s establish one thing now—whether it’s a new role altogether or one you’ve hired for multiple times, having a kick-ass job description will help you cut down time on finding the right person. Gone are the days where job descriptions are the stale, route, same-old bland repetition of what the job is on your company letterhead. Quite simply, if your job description is boring, you can expect your candidates... Maternity Leave Reflections: Why Workplace Flexibility and Compassion Shouldn’t Be “Benefits” In April of 2022 I, like so many women that have come before me, found out I was on a 9-month (physical and emotional) rollercoaster that would lead to me becoming a Mom (ok, a human-child’s mom... . we all know Arlo is, and will always be, my “first born”). It was exciting! It was terrifying! It was all the things that every woman that’s ever been through it tells you it is. As a business-owner, I was lucky enough to sit in a seat where when the news sunk in, I did not head to a place so many women often do when they process the gravity and impact of this chapter—a place of anxiety over work and how to confront an employer with this happy yet, disruptive news. In fact, having already established (what I believed to be) a generous maternity leave policy (3 months+ fully paid leave), I recognize just how blessed I was to have my biggest concern be quite simply, making sure I could transition some of my work to other parties within the company. Life, Maternity Leave and Bringing Your Authentic Self At RNG, I have always worked to embrace life in all its messy, untidy, and exciting ways. I coach our team on the belief that there are no lines between life and work. No, instead, it’s all one big life; work is simply a piece (a big piece) that plays into... Are you making these costly hiring mistakes during the interview process? Hiring managers play a crucial role in any organization's success by selecting the best talent to drive their business forward. However, hiring managers are human and prone to making mistakes. Let's discuss 3 key mistakes hiring managers make and how to avoid them! Hiring Mistakes to Avoid #1: Taking Too Much Time/Leaving Applicants in the Queue Hiring managers have multiple responsibilities and finding the right candidate is a time-consuming process. However, taking too much time can have a negative impact, leading to losing qualified candidates who may have moved on to other opportunities. In addition, leaving applicants waiting in the queue for too long can create a negative experience for them. Candidates who feel they have been ignored or forgotten may have a negative perception of the company and be less likely to accept a job offer in the future. Solution: Set Clear Timelines and Streamline the Hiring Process To avoid losing qualified candidates and creating a negative experience, hiring managers should streamline their hiring process. Set clear timelines for each stage of the process and communicate these timelines to candidates. Additionally, using technology such as applicant tracking systems (ATS) can help managers keep track of applications and speed up the review process. Hiring Mistakes to Avoid #2: Focusing Too Much on Technical Skills Technical skills are essential, but they are not the only factor to consider when hiring a candidate. Hiring managers who focus solely on technical skills... Contact Us Why Did RecorGroup Choose RNG Group? “You guys are definitely partners. How to Create a Five-Star Interview Process: Pre-Interview Preparation: Align internal teams on must-have candidate qualifications. Do this to avoid confusion and ensure the same goal is in mind. This may look like creating a wants vs. needs list, knowing what the first 90 days should entail, which soft skills are essential, etc. Schedule a 5-10 minute meeting with your team of interviewers right before the interview. This is to ensure everyone is prepared and briefed on the candidate. During this meeting you’ll be able to provide a quick overview of the candidate, share important candidate details, key skills, and the reason this candidate was chosen to be interviewed. Create behavioral-based interview questions. You'll want to assess soft skills... So let's get started! _____________________________________________________ Job Searching Tips (The RNG Edition) Communicate with your recruiter: Let your recruiter know the best way to get ahold of you for quick or more serious questions. (Text, call, LinkedIn, or email) Be honest: Your recruiter wants to know exactly what you can do, what you want to do, and what you want in an employer. We’re here to make the best long-term partnership we can! And that helps when we know all those things. Be open to negotiation: Find out what a company can offer you beyond the salary range. Who knows, you might not know how much insurance/PTO/401K/working hybrid might mean to you! Communicate... Interviewing isn't easy and neither is interviewing as an introvert. As someone who values time alone, I prefer to do my job and let my work speak for itself. So crafting the perfect response and conveying my value to the interviewer feels like a mountain to climb. I know I'm not the only person who feels like this. As a result, I decided to write down a few tips I use for myself when I interview. Here are 3 easy things you can do to interview as an introvert to confidently sell yourself as a candidate! Interviewing as an Introvert Tip 1: Use Post Its Seriously? Seriously. Hear me out. Being an introvert means that some times we can overthink things. So to avoid getting stuck in our head (as one does), use a few post-its and stick them around your monitor. This is a neat and rather crafty way to remember the highlights of your previous jobs, efforts or experiences. Those little yellow paper squares are going to be your best friend. Ask yourself some questions like “What metrics can you mention? ”, “Any experiences that highlight leadership projects? ” and ”Are there any related job experiences I can mention? ” Write down the answers on the stickies and place them around your screen so you can sneak a glance without being obvious. Interviewing as an Introvert Tip 2: Use the S. T. A. R Method Did you know that there are several interview techniques you can use to... How To Message Recruiters On LinkedIn Should you or should you not message recruiters on LinkedIn? Take it from us, real recruiters here at RNG Group... If you message recruiters on LinkedIn, you'll stand out! In fact, according to LinkedIn’s statistics page, there are 95 job applications submitted every second and 50 million people that are using LinkedIn to search for jobs every week. Completion is tough so standing out becomes so important for the online jobseeker! So increase your network and connect with recruiters or hiring managers by making the first move. We’ve all been in a situation where we don’t know exactly what to say. Don’t worry, you’re not alone. Even if you're quite confident with your professional networking skills, here are my personal tips to craft the perfect message! Let’s start with a connection request. How Can I Contact Job Recruiters on LinkedIn? Example Message 1 Hey _____, I saw that you are recruiting for the ____ industry. Would you be open to discuss potentially working together? I’m a _________ (current position) who recently _____ (share a value proposition and experience) and am currently exploring new career opportunities. Let’s connect! Example Message 2 Hi _____, I see that you work for _______ (name of recruiting agency or company). I’m currently a ________ interested in exploring the _____ position your company is hiring for. Would you be open to connecting and discussing in further detail as I’m currently looking to explore new opportunities? Example Message 3 Hi _________, I... Hiring Gen Z requires a new approach to recruitment but how do you market your company to this new generation of workers? The post-pandemic landscape for workers has entered employers into a new realm of hiring. Millennials and Generation Z feel less loyal to employers than Generation X and Baby Boomers. When it comes to a work-life balance, that loyalty is going out the window. Being on the cusp of Millennial and Gen Z myself, a Zillenial, I have some insight on what the younger workforce is looking for in an employer. Hiring Gen Z: The Desire to Make a Difference Generation Z wants work that “matters. ”Gen Z approaches work through a mission driven lens. So employers should align with their values and goals. This is as small as having good benefits programs, and as big as having environmental sustainability initiatives. Hailey’s Tip: Communicate your company values early and often. Make those values genuine, but don’t shy away from taking a stance on current issues such as climate change or Diversity and Inclusion. The Gen Z Work Ethic While the saying “kids these days” is usually followed by a negative sentiment such as – “don’t want to work anymore,” that isn’t the case for Gen Zers. Yes, Gen Z values flexibility and empathy in the workplace, but that doesn’t replace their drive to succeed. Generation Z is interested in working hard and earning their place in a company. Hailey’s Tip: Don’t underestimate Generation Z’s work ethic – make them... Interviewing as a digital marketer doesn’t have to be a mystery. There are clear, easy ways to market yourself in the interview as a good fit during the interview process. So here at RNG, we’re developing a new series for jobseekers who are applying for specific positions. Soon, we’ll introduce “Interviewing as a Software Developer” but today we’re excited to introduce our first entry into this exciting new series. If you’re interviewing as a digital marketer, grab a pen and paper because we’re about to help you ace that interview! 1. Know Your Numbers and Metrics Digital marketing comes with metrics. So you need to mention metrics of your work. KPI’s (key performance indicators) like impressions, downloads, website visits, engagements, video views, click-through-rates ect... are all important parts of how you measure success as a digital marketer. Say for example, you ran a campaign for a white paper on LinkedIN. You’ll need to know how many downloads you received, what the average daily clicks were, the impressions generated and some general knowledge of the industry/job function/ seniority of the accounts targeted. Why? The hiring manager wants to know cold hard numbers to know your success. 2. Apply Phrases from the Job Description Help the hiring manager imagine you within the role. We know we say this time and time again but use the keywords from the job description in your resumes AND interview. Your job as an interviewee is to apply your skills, values and experiences within the context of... Setting career goals in 2022 to transform your professional and interpersonal skills! Setting career goals is crucial for anyone looking to up their game! We’re ALREADY a month into the new year. Hopefully by now you’ve had time to sit down and reflect on your professional and personal goals for the next 11 months. If not, now’s the time! Are you hoping to get a job promotion or improve your skillset in 2022? Whatever your goals may look like - it’s always nice to revisit where you see yourself in the upcoming months. If you haven't had a chance to reflect on what 2022 will look like, consider these career goals! Setting Career Goals 1: ENHANCE YOUR SOFT SKILLS I’ve been caught up thinking of how I can be a better recruiter. Do I need a certain certification? Should I look into a sales training course? Would it be in my best interest to read a book about negotiation? All of those certifications, courses, and books would definitely add to my skillset. I don’t want to get too caught up in the pragmatism of what I've learned and think: “Okay, I saw this in that one book I read, page 542 paragraph 3, and this is what I’m supposed to do. " Instead, what if I paired the technical skills that I’ve learned with the interpersonal skills such as empathy, communication, strategy, and creativity? For every technical skill I absorb, I couple it with enhancing my soft skills by looking... So Why RNG Group? WFH Tips: Mastering the Home Office Here are our Tips & Tricks to Maximize Your Work (From Home) Flow WFH tips are becoming ESSENTIAL. As the Coronavirus continues rear its ugly head – workers everywhere are spending less time in the office and more time working from home. Remote work has tripled since the beginning of the pandemic, and all types of workers are able to see the benefits and detriments of working from home in real time. Since many employees and employers are left with no option but to offer remote work, finding strategies to stay productive is critical to continuing to perform well in the workplace. I asked our team what their best “Work From Home” tips are – and here’s what they said: Kayla Otto: Listen up I recommend high-frequency binaural beats! These beats will improve your concentration and productivity. John Hosmer: Address Your Household Needs Best thing about working from home for me is the ability to take care of things at home that could otherwise be a distraction; I can clean up the kitchen for a few minutes or do some dinner prep. Being able to take care of my pets and household needs in between work tasks helps keep overall stress levels low and helps me stay focused on my work - since I’m not thinking about the other things. Pete Richter: Utilize the flexibility Being able to get out of bed and go straight to work is a huge benefit of working from... Well How To Spot Job Scams wasn't an article I thought I'd ever write. In fact, I was determined to continue part 3 on "LinkedIN Tips For Job Searchers. " But as fortune (or misfortune) would have it, I fell for a worst case scenario during my job search. Someone almost scammed me during my job search! How did they do that, you might ask? Let's start from the beginning. The Context I was furiously applying to jobs here on LinkedIN, Glassdoor, Indeed and other sites. Every day, I was modifying my resume and cover letter for upwards of 5-10 jobs a day. Week after week, I failed to gain traction with anyone. Hiring managers were only replying to inform me that I wasn't selected for the next round... if they replied at all. So after a month of sending applications and receiving rejection emails, I felt a bit insecure. Lingering doubt hovered over me. Did I have a good resume? Did I have the skills to branch out and further my career into digital marketing? Was rejection my fault as a person? After a month sailed by, I received an email with some great news. Someone contacted me asking if I was willing to interview for an open position. So of course I said yes! Someone FINALLY contacted me about an interview! A real company that needed a digital marketer wanted to talk to me. I couldn't believe my hard work finally paid off! During my initial period of... 3 Things I’ve Learned At RNG Group If you would have asked my younger self what I’d be doing for my professional career, I bet he would’ve told you “I’ll be traveling the world and teaching dance”. Well, that younger self was half right. I still teach dance but I’m not traveling the world. It’s not something I’m upset about either, because I’ve found a new home here at RNG Group and a new passion for corporate recruiting. I know that I’ve always valued relationships and networking, and I’ve always been the guy that my friends or strangers can ask “Hey do you know anyone for ____”. It wasn’t something that I put too much thought into, but more so, it was a way of being able to help someone connect the dots to their problem. Fast forward to today, it’s already been 6 weeks here at RNG Group (time flies when you’re having fun), and I feel like I can genuinely say that I’ve learned so much in that short amount of time. So what have I learned at RNG? 1. DON’T BE AFRAID I’ve always been someone that likes to dive straight into an opportunity or situation whether I had the experience for it because I’m more of a hands-on learner anyways. For the first few weeks, I was working on multiple roles for clients that I had no knowledge in and that was intimidating. I was nervous I would mess up a call, I was intimidated talking... Using LinkedIN is definitely easier than you think! Imagine you’re a hiring manager using professional networking sites to recruit for a company and you see two types of profiles. The first profile is completely empty. There's no headshot, no reviews, only a brief work history and the about section is only a few sentences long. The second profile is filled with certifications, a professional headshot, positive reviews from previous employers and has a stunning banner with contact information. Guess what profile will stick out more? Exactly. Using LinkedIN for job searching is becoming a MUST for jobseekers. Sure there are other sites out there but when we talk about professional networking in social media, there's really only 1 major player. Many employers use LinkedIN to check out candidates. Even if you don’t apply through LinkedIn, there’s often a small text box in the application form that’s labeled “LinkedIN” profile! Filling out your profile is important because you have the chance to show a recruiter who you are beyond a resume. So create profile that resonates with your industry and matches with your personal brand. As professional recruiters, we're determined to use every tool in the LinkedIN box to help YOU create a high performing profile! There’s no silver bullet to getting hired but there’s certainly tried-and-true ROUTES to success! Let's start. Here’s part 2 of our LinkedIN Guide for Beginners Update your LinkedIn Banner Don’t leave your banner blank! You only have 1584 by 396 pixels to tell the world... Online Job Searching Tips For LinkedIN Job searching online has two parts no one talks about: LinkedIN is getting busier than ever and online job-hunting tips are a dime-a-dozen! According to LinkedIn, there's over 930 million members in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. That's a lot of competition. In light of this, we gathered a few basic profile tips to help you stand out in this crowded field. So where do you start? It starts with you, more specifically your profile. Optimizing your online profiles on professional networking sites like LinkedIN and Indeed have never been more important! How Can I Fill Out My LinkedIn Profile? Let's start with the basics. Here your basic settings for your profile: Headline About Section Profession/Job Title Location Job Skills Education Certifications Industry. Start small with changing just 3 sections in your profile! LinkedIN Profile Best Practices 1. Change Your Headline Right underneath your profile photo is a space that lets any visitor know who you are professionally. Add a little tagline like "Results oriented sales representative looking for new opportunities" (or something to that effect) and the skills you have acquired. Here's a little formula if you can't think of anything: How you describe yourself + job position + "looking for new opportunities! " + in (location where you're jobhunting). 2. Update Your Skills and Assessments Do you know how recruiters find you? When recruiters search, they will type in key skills. You want your profile to match what recruiters are... We’ve all heard the phrase “time is money” – if we’re being honest we’ve all probably used it at some point. While we obviously can’t give ‘time’ to the barista in exchange for a latte, we all have the same, limited amount of time to accomplish all that we need to do every day. That limitation on our time means we have to prioritize tasks which inevitably means some things land on the backburner. We’ve all been there! You have a calendar full of meetings and your boss needs that report you’ve been trying to finish and then the toilet overflowed at home and it just seems to never stop. Eventually, something falls to the wayside and gets overlooked. When it comes to your business, our experience has shown that it is often the hiring process that gets sidelined. As desperately as your team might be to fill pivotal positions, there often just aren’t enough resources to efficiently organize this process. Between managing your candidate pipeline, interviewing, reviewing assignments, writing job descriptions, scheduling... It’s a lot! You know that you need these hires to continue growing, but there just aren’t enough hours in the day to maintain your current responsibilities and spend hours poring through resumes. What if there were an option that allowed you to continue focusing on your responsibilities while also moving strong candidates through the interview process? Imagine only reviewing resumes from highly qualified candidates that have already been pre-screened with your specific criteria in mind. That’s... Paying Fair Wages: Attraction and Compensation Benchmarking Paying fair wages is more complicated than you think. Do you know the market rate for your Sr. Software Developers? What about your SDETS, AE’s, Admins, Analysts, Accountants, VPs, etc. ? What about potential talent – do you know what salary to offer to attract top performers? If you’re scratching your head and are thinking ‘kind-of’, then it’s probably time for a comp review and analysis of your team and open jobs. Compensation benchmarking is an absolute must for your organization, and without it you’re driving blind, and to remain competitive, to attract top-talent, and to maximize retention, you have to know the market value of the positions within your company as well as what to offer incoming candidates. Ok, so how do I benchmark my employee’s compensation versus the market rate for this position? Well, you’re going to need some technical tools and perhaps a person who knows their way around the compensation and benchmarking world. There is a wide variety of benchmarking services out there from 3rd party consultants to online benchmarking programs like: Payscale. com, Salary. com, LinkedIn Salary, Indeed, and Bureau of Labor Statistics (free). There are pros and cons to each of these services, and each service varies in cost, ease of use, database robustness, and filtering capabilities. Do a bit of research to find out what tool(s) is best for you and your company. Maybe (wink wink) have a company do an in-depth compensation and benchmarking analysis... Unclear expectations about communication and timelines are a detriment to advancing forward in the hiring process. Please let your candidate know from the start what the process looks like and how long it should take. 2. No clear communication! Make sure you're communicating clearly with your candidates (especially if you're super interested). So many times clients will let candidates fall through the cracks during the hiring process. Make sure to check in on a weekly basis and set some expectations about moving forward. Say something like "Hey we're interested in you and here's what the next step will be and here's when it will be. " 3. Not talking about compensation EARLY! Please talk about compensation EARLY! Have a direct conversation about compensation since hiring can take months of time. Imagine all that time getting ready finish this race only to find out that both parties... Interview Strategies: Ace The Zoom Interview New year, new me right? The current pandemic has forced everyone to adjust their work life and that’s no different for hiring managers looking for exciting, intelligent talent! One way hiring managers have adapted is the now DREADED Zoom interview. The Zoom interview isn’t THAT different from a regular interview. The usual interview advice still stands: research the company, practice our favorite tip (Interview Strategies: S. T. A. R method), speak 10-15% slower than you usually do etc... but new situations call for new job searching strategies. So still wondering what Interview Strategies: Ace The Zoom Interview really means? Here are 5 excellent tips to pass that zoom interview! 1. Use post-its Those little yellow paper squares? Yeah, those ones! Post them around the edge of the screen. When you glance at these notes, it won’t look obvious that you’re glancing at something else! Would you want to interview someone that’s constantly looking at something else? Didn’t think so! Write down the details you might need to remember, experiences you want to share, insights you have etc. Write down some questions you want to ask the interviewer. Don’t know what to ask? We gathered some questions to ask interviewers just for you! 2. Check your lighting Ever look through your phone and notice how some selfies are on point and others aren’t? Interview Prep: 4 Interview Questions To Ask Interview questions to ask might seem a bit weird coming from you (the candidate). But now that you’re fully prepared to A C E that interview, there’s a little something else we need to talk about. Usually when we think of interviews, we’re typically discussing how YOU can respond to potential questions. “Tell me about your previous work experiences”, “What brings your interest in this company? ” and all that jazz. But there’s the thing... . the interview goes both ways. Not only is the interviewer questioning you but YOU are interviewing the company. *record skip* Yup, any interview is a two way street for both the interview and the interviewee. Here’s a common but misleading way of thinking about interviews: The candidate (you) has to jump through hoops and questions just to make it through the gauntlet... that the interview is ALL about answering questions and HOPING they like you. But here’s the thing... . you don’t need to knock on wood and cross your fingers during an interview. You’re an active participant in this interview. Interviews usually have a section where the interviewer asks “Do you have any questions for us? ” Or something to that effect. This part of the interview is saved for last. But that’s where you get to assert yourself and determine whether or not the company is a good fit for you! This is a delicate part since you want to come off as confident and... Tips To Interview Candidates By Jessica Cafferty Tips to interview candidates are a lifesaver during hiring season. Interviewing always seems to be accompanied by anxiety, stress, and headache. Sure, being interviewed is stressful enough, but often times hosting an interview can be equally daunting, intimidating, or frankly just peevish. That’s why at RNG Group, we’re partnering with businesses all over the Northwest to help them crush interviews and hire exceptional candidates. If you’re hiring and want to make the most of your interviews, read on. Tips to interview candidates Adopt consistency in your interviews. Yes, interviews can and should have conversational attributes. They should be fluid and engaging (no one enjoys a 21-question fire squad) but that doesn’t mean that each interview should be completely different than the one before it. In fact, we recommend coming up with at least 3 culture-centric questions that you’ll ask anyone that you’re interviewing. These should be questions that drive at your values as an organization, and you should be prepared to take note of responses from each candidate to compare later. Example, let’s say one of your values is “customer-centricity” a good values-focused interview question could be: “Tell me about a time when you’ve worked with an especially challenging customer or a problem for a customer. What was the circumstance and how did you appease the client?... Why Employees Leave by Ollie Musekamp Afraid of A Talent Exodus during Covid-19? You should be... Why employees leave is a hard situation to deal with. All that talent and expertise... gone. It's fair to be concerned about an employee departure. A recent study by PWC found that 80% of CEO’s are either extremely or somewhat concerned about their company’s ability to access high-skilled labor in the future. In this Pandemic World, these concerns are exacerbated in several ways: Your top-talent is more important than ever as your business is rebounding, relaunching, and recovering, and your best talent know this. 2. The lockdown has given your employees more clarity and more meaning on what a work-life balance actually means. And the result of these two factors could mean... a talent exodus. Here’s the TOP 4 HR Items YOU Can Do Now to ensure your best talent sticks around. 1. Adapt and innovate to meet employees’ needs: In a poll of 5,200 global professionals, 78% say that they would like their employer to encourage more working from home. In order to be successful, the majority of organizations will have to radically change how they operate during and post-pandemic. From health practicalities to work-life balance, successful employers need to be willing to adapt and innovate in order to meet their employees’ needs. 2. Transparency & Openness: The pandemic has certainly opened the floodgates on where company values and priorities lie. Transparency has always been the most significant predictor of employee happiness, and a lack... Interview Strategies: The S. T. A. R Method So you've made it to your big interview? Congrats! After sending dozens (if not hundreds) of resumes, you’re invited to one of the most important days of your career. You’ve put a LOT of work into your resume but here’s the thing... . the real test is about to begin. And that test is the interview! There are many interview strategies but there's only one S. T. A. R method. We trust interview strategies like S. T. A. R to deliver results. The S. T. A. R method is a simple technique to categorise and explain experiences in your interview. Remember that your interviewer won't know anything about your former work experiences. They won't know ANYTHING beyond your resume. So S. T. A. R creates a simple, easy-to-follow narrative that goes from A-to-Z. This technique will keep you on point and focused on a competency based answer. So first things first. What do the letters in the S. T. A. R Method mean? Great question! S. T. A. R means Situation, Task, Action and Result. Let's break this down. Situation. Task. Action. Result. Situation comes first. The interviewer will ask about previous work experiences and this is where you want to start FIRST. Questions like "Share an example of a time when you faced a difficult problem at work. " are almost ALWAYS asked. This is THE easiest ball to knock out of the park. Reflect on your experiences. Just what WAS... Recruiting Trends By Zoe So what are the hottest topics in the recruiting industry? From social impact, social media and remote work, Zoe spills the deets! Recruiting Trends: Social Impact - What are you doing beyond business as usual? It’s not just about creating a mission statement or having an office recycling program and “calling it good” anymore. Social impact goes beyond that. Particularly for Millennials and Gen Z, employees crave a re-examination of every facet of how you’re currently doing business and how your organization plans to take action on areas that need improvement. For example, if you’re a manufacturer, how do you plan on going carbon neutral and paying livable wages? We are in the age of “information at our fingertips” and candidates will be examining your company on multiple levels; IE beyond the job itself, is this an organization I can truly stand behind? There are also positive benefits that directly impact employees such as improved retention, a sense of identity with the business they work for, higher employee engagement, and increased creativity. Yes, these can be big initiatives to take on but the process of implementing these can be just as impactful. Often, it’s as simple as forming a diverse committee of employees that can help in laying the groundwork for those bigger steps. And, every step towards social impact is a step in the right direction! Recruiting Trends: Social Media - Are you present and active on social media? At this point we’ve all seen... Soft skills have been on lots of people's minds lately. LinkedIN recently published an article about these "soft skills. " (click here to read the article! ) But what exactly are these skills and how can you use them? What are soft skills? First things first. You know how you communicate, engage and respond in the workplace? That's it. Soft skills differ from a "hard skill" because the latter isn't technical like coding or science stuff. Soft skills are about engaging with people. You can see the excellence of these skills everywhere. Ever go to a fancy restuarant and the waiters are just on point? The way they engage with customers, how they communicate, present themselves, the small conversation they might make about the menu are all part of their soft abilities. All these little tricks add to the experience of working with other people and with clients. Great business deals are made even better. If you could elevate your presence and leave an impact on people, would you? Which leaves us the question: Where Can I Start Using Soft Skills? Great question! We USE these skills in everyday life without really thinking about it. Skills like collaboration, creativity, persuasion and adaptation are in our daily lives. Play sports? Adaptability and collaboration. Like to take pics and post them on the your Facebook/IG? Creativity and content production. Enjoy writing? That’s a skill you can use for communication platforms (like an email newsletter or social media post ;)) One of the... The Recruiting Process: How to Track a Unicorn Recruiting in corporate America is an interesting place. Various agencies and firms all promise the same thing: helping clients find the best talent. From the outside, it may seem like a straightforward process with a single path towards fulfillment. When you dig down and get into the weeds of it, there are a myriad of methods available. We could easily spend the next few minutes dissecting the merits of each approach. But let's focus on how RNG Group approaches talent acquisition and how I find candidates for our clients. 1. It starts with relationships. We are very relationship-driven approach to our recruiting process. This means we spend a lot of time getting to know our clients and our candidates. Our first step is to meet with our client and their team (pre-Covid this meant visiting their office). We learn about their culture and the type of people that make up their staff. We research qualities they’re looking for in their next hire. Next, we get a job description for the position. We need to know exactly the type of skills they see as valuable and important to be successful in the role. These extra steps differentiate us as an agency: we want to partner with the clients, not just find talent for them. By learning about their organization on a deeper level, we are better equipped to find people that have the skills AND culture fit to make a strong addition to... WFH Lessons From Hamilton: An American Musical Founding Father who immigrated from the Caribbean. WFH Lessons are easy to find in Hamilton's story! So how what WFH lessons can we learn from this rather exquisite Broadway musical? Besides being the hottest play in Broadway (sorry Wicked! ), there's a story of being a self-starter, ambition and perseverance despite the odds. (And Hamilton faced P L E N T Y of odds) And that's fitting for times like now. We like to think people we work (you! ) with have a little something in common with one of America's Founding Fathers. Here are some lessons we at RNG Group think you might like from Hamilton: An American Musical. WFH Lessons Act 1: Dont' just work, Werk! "How to account for his rise to the top? Man, the man was nonstop. " Hamilton literally started from the bottom and (looooong story short) he hustled his way into American History. We don't promise such lofty results but there's a lesson to be learned here. Times are tough right now but the best thing you can do is invest in yourself! Hamilton was a ferocious reader and read everything he could get his hands on. SO INVEST IN YO SELF! Free certifications are available online from tech giants such Google. Courses like Search Display Ads, Analytics, G-Suite are impressive to have on your resume! Did we mention these certifications are free? You can knock out a certification every two weeks. Just make sure to... Amazon is coming to Idaho! But did you know how much Bezos makes? According to Business Insider, Bezos makes $2,489 per second — more than twice what the median US worker makes in one week, that’s $149,353 per minute. Mind blown. Yes, we all know Bezos’s wealth is ridiculous, but what do most of us really care about – delivery times. When I Prime the 50’ expandable Flexihose (which is amazing by the way), I want it in 2 days or less, which wasn’t always the case living in Boise. The New Fullfillment Center Now we can all can high-five, because those delivery times are about to be going light-speed. Amazon is currently building a massive 650,000 square foot fulfillment center on E. Franklin Rd. in Nampa (appropriately named ‘Project Bronco’), and when complete, the fulfillment center will employ as many as 1,000 workers. Check out the aerial video here. Also, curious what’s goes on inside an Amazon fulfillment center? Check out the fulfillment center in Omaha, Nebraska. Separately, Amazon will convert the former 79,000 square foot FedEx Ground facility on S. Business Way near the Boise Factory Outlets to the DID2 Distribution Center. The New Call Center Oh, we're not done yet. Amazon-owned PillPack (an online pharmacy) is planning to build a 78,000-square-foot call center, located southwest of the intersection of Overland and Eagle roads. The call center, which is predicted to bring over 500 jobs to the valley, is expected to open sometime in 2021 and will complement... Social Media Marketing: Business Basics Social media marketing matters because it’s one of the easiest (and cheapest) ways to get your business in front of people’s eyes. It’s fun and your paid campaigns can be extremely affordable (we’ll talk about that later). First things first. We’re going to cover a topic called “Organic Posting. ” That’s the free posts you make everyday as a user, except that it’s for your business. This is the most fundamental approach you can take. Writing down a few short sentences, putting down some hashtags, putting a location on your post are all easy, free ways to start your social media marketing journey! Also, social media marketing matters because everyone is online NOW. When you wake up, when you’re at lunch, when you get home, before you go to sleep, what do people do? They check their phones. Social media is part of our daily lives. And let’s talk about current affairs. The pandemic has forced everyone to move online. Stay at home orders have increased our usage of online media. Axios even reported that social media app usage is 25% of ALL mobile app usage in the USA. It’s kind of a big deal. So, it’s time to adapt an online strategy for your business. Why should I post? To get your name OUT there. Visibility is currency. So the more visibility you have, the better. Those brief 2-3 seconds your pic is on someone’s phone ARE WORTH THE EFFORT. There’s over a billion... Twin Falls: More Than Meets The Eye! Boise isn't the only Idaho area being put on the map! Twin Falls is the hub of Southern Idaho and it’s no longer a hidden gem. Boasting breathtaking canyons, mighty rivers, and roaring waterfalls, this Idaho City has a booming economy to brag about. The Silicone Valley of Food Many call Twin Falls the ‘Silicon Valley of Food’. The region has a massive dairy supply and extensive range of agriculture products. Large employers like Chobani, Clip Bar, Glanbia Nutritionals, and Amalgamated Sugar are investing BILLIONS to set up shop. Can you believe Chobani operates the WORLD’S LARGEST yogurt facility here? ! Twin Falls also houses a growing food science and R&D sector and a full range of complimentary food support services. Chobani is investing $21 million to build a Community Innovation Center that houses their Global R&D Center. Because half of Idaho’s dairy processors are located here, Twin Falls is a hub for dairy innovation. In fact, coming 2021, the largest and most advanced research dairy in the United States will break ground here. This project will include a demonstration farm, agro-tourism center, 2,000- cow dairy and dorm rooms. Education and training the future workforce will improve the industry’s productivity. Business Is Booming! The University of Idaho’s Research and Extension Center conducts research projects related to agricultural economics and a variety of other ag-related subjects. In addition, this region benefits from having access to the College of Southern Idaho’s Workforce Development & Training... Industry growth is exploding in the NW! We're taking big steps towards expanding our network across the Pacific Northwest. So it's natural to highlight our friends in North Idaho / Eastern Washington: Coeur d’Alene and Spokane. Each city could easily fill its own blog. However, combing the two seemed like the natural thing to do. Fun fact: the I-90 Aerospace Corridor is one major reason why this regional economy is growing (more on that soon! ) In recent years, Boise has garnered a lot of attention for the growth happening in the Treasure Valley. The Spokane / CDA region however, has a comparable population (over 700k). Both areas are seeing large growth in a range of similar industries. This region is very start-up friendly. Various incentives and programs are available for new businesses to get more out of their resources. For example, lower overhead and shorter commutes help companies offer better work/life balance. The quality of life and retention rates benefit companies as a result. The I-90 Aerospace Corridor consists of over 200 companies and organizations in the aerospace industry and stretches across northern Montana, Idaho, and Washington and goes right through Coeur d’Alene and Spokane. With 25 colleges and universities peppered across this route, lower cost-of-living options, and easy access to all-season outdoor activities, it’s easy to see why Spokane / CDA is growing quickly! This corridor has created jobs in manufacturing, IT, and trucking / distribution and continues to grow. Healthcare is not only a major industry in... Before I was hired at RNG Group as a Recruiting Strategist, I had to do my homework to really understand what recruiting meant as a career. I started with research and paralleled that with asking folks in my network who had anything to do with recruiting. I looked at HR, internal recruiters and countless staffing agencies. Here's what I kept hearing: “it’s a numbers game” or “you’ll get worked to the bone. " Truthfully, this was the exact opposite type of culture I wanted to be in. When it came to my own experience with recruiters, it was pretty lackluster. Every now and again, a really off-base message on LinkedIn reached my inbox. These messages didn’t align with my skillset and frankly failed to grab my attention. This is a typical message I was used to seeing in my inbox: “I am (insert name) from (insert agency). My client is looking to hire Project Coordinator at Boise, ID. Please share your updated resume to (insert recruiters email address), if interested. ” This was not the type of recruiting I wanted to do. I knew there had to be a better way of connecting and building report with candidates and clients. I reached out to key people from agencies I had researched and was interested in. The first person I ended up meeting with was Jessica – Route’s founder. She, without hesitation, agreed to meet me for coffee. I picked her brain and really got a better understanding of the landscape.... Route Networking Group has some exciting news! Route Networking Group has expanded into the greater Northwest! We are now connecting exceptional talent with fantastic companies in Bend, Bozeman, Coeur d'Alene, Missoula, Reno, Twin Falls, Idaho Falls, Spokane, and as always, the beautiful Treasure Valley! Connect with our Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn pages too! Job search advice for a pandemic is like an odd subject. But that's where we are. For 22 year olds across the country College graduation is such an exciting time. That feeling of taking your last final and realizing you did it is incredible. The weekend of celebration passes and then you realize “oh sh*t, now what? ” What does job search advice look like during a pandemic? First, just finding that first job can be a daunting task, and this year grads are faced with a job market that is not in their favor. COVID-19 has caused many businesses to go on hiring freezes, programs are being de-funded, and the un-employment rate has spiked to all time highs. So what is a new grad to do? Experts are weighing in and giving some tips. Career expert Chris Shelley gave three tips for college grads: Create a clear and concise resume. Hiring managers are looking through a ton of resumes right now and making sure yours stand out and highlights your accomplishments is more important than ever. Leverage staffing and recruiting firms. Connecting exceptional talent and amazing companies; it’s what we do! We can also help fine-tune your resume, LinkedIn, and interview skills. Leverage your network! ! ! ! ! ! This is important for job seekers of ANY age. Your network is how you hear about that position and how your resume gets in front of the right eyes. Need tips on networking? Check out our networking 101 blog... Our Webinar,“The Power of Persistence: your guide to navigating all things human capital in the digital world”, is up and ready! Our webinar was a great time getting to see everyone and chat last week! In case you weren't able to attend or want to share we have the full webinar here for you! WHAT we’re going to Cover: Idaho’s current unemployment numbers and other related data points How other small businesses in Boise have coped with the challenging environment We’ll share how our team has grappled with fear and uncertainty (yep. We admit it! ) How to refine your process of attracting talent and ideas for how to do so 100% remote (and why you should continue to do so no matter how far out that next hire is) How to onboard and engage new employees in an all-digital environment Ideas on how to continue to engage your current teams, when you can’t meet in-person Here is the link to the FULL video. Thanks for watching! If you have any questions please reach out to us! Not all webinars are created equal. That’s a phrase we’ve come to know quite well at RNG in the age of the COVID pandemic. Like many of you, we’ve been absorbing as much information as we can get our hands on; everything from how to “Survive to Thrive” (thanks Trailhead) to what the PPP loans are, to how to learn how to code, to social media marketing, to a very weird webinar that I’m not sure had a purpose... . I think we’ve all been there. Which, is why, when it came time to examine how we were going to make an impact in our own network, we’d originally scoffed at the idea of ANOTHER webinar. But, go figure, when you’re quarantined and can’t host any kind of in-person meeting, a webinar is about the best option out there. So, we created,” The Power of Persistence: your guide to navigating all things human capital in the digital world” with one premise in mind: it MUST be a webinar that doesn’t suck. And you know, after spending the last two weeks enamoring ourselves with Zoom, scouring the internet for the BEST gifs we can find, and developing content that we know will be easy for participants to implement, I think we’ve done it. Nothing about this is going to suck. In fact, I think it may even be... . FUN. Check out the details below and JOIN US. Previous employees happened by chance- my own process was not actually a process and I needed real experience for my positions. RNG was so efficient to get my job listing posted. They wrote my requirements into the most professional, honest and down to earth listing! In a very short period of time I was presented with quality candidates, filtered by RNG for the best fit. They gave me guidance on hiring offers and market salaries to be prepared for. They followed up with me regularly, not too much and not too little. This was so much easier and enjoyable than I expected, and my team is crushing it. I'll be working with them again and again! Working with the RNG team was a great experience. They’re professional, kind, and make collaboration easy. Highly recommend The RNG team helped my company identify a high volume of quality candidates with unique skillset for a niche industry within which we operate. They have been very amenable to working with us as we grow even when that means they have the change the model for how we partner. Any company will be fortunate to have this fantastic team doing their frontline talent sourcing. They meet every challenge with a smile and the 'we will figure it out' mentality that our leadership team needs. Thank you, Route Networking Group. Special shoutout to Zoe, Jess, and Hailey! I've worked with Bianca for about a year now and could not be happier. Incredibly responsive and has been insanely accommodating to my travel schedule and my needs. She took the time on the front end to get to understand how I operate and how I run my firm and what our culture is. We had some unexpectedly curveballs thrown at us with candidates that surprised and frustrated us both. But Bianca was steadfast, positive in her communication and was persistent. I've never engaged with a recruiter for my firm prior and confident that Bianca and the rest of the RNG team are amazing at what they do. Very impressed and will continue to work with them with our hiring needs into the future! Bianca was so great to work with and got me placed in a position that was perfect for me. She knew my employers well and matched us based on what we both were looking for in an employer/employee. She understood that matching people with other liked minded people is important for a successful working relationship. I fit in well with my new employer and she was absolutely instrumental with that by using her skills of being able to get to know people at a deeper level, not just what is on paper. Best experience and would highly recommend! I am so impressed with these guys! I did a walk-in about 3 weeks ago because I heard good things about Route, and ended up connecting with Bianca. She literally sat down with me for like 30 minutes and asked me my life story so that she could put together the peices of my personality and what career path would be a best fit for me. She was a very present listener and then was able to reflect back to me so many things about my skills and preferences that I didn’t realize. I didn’t realize recruiters had career counselor talents but I guess it makes sense. Anyways, I saw her at a business event weeks later and she gave a super warm welcome and we ended up chatting again for a while. I was just super impressed with how genuine she is in finding meaning out of connecting people with the right career and job fits. It sounds like another one of her talents is helping businesses figure out what positions they really might need in their company and then is good at intuiting who would fit in those roles. Anyways, I digress. Bianca is amazing and helped guide my direction in just 2 conversations. And from what I gathered, it seems like that is the mentality that is fostered amongst the Route company culture. Very impressed! Route Networking Group is not your typical recruiter. They are one of the few places I have worked with that really wanted to understand the company culture they were recruiting for. Instead of telling me "oh we have the perfect candidate for you" they met with me several times to understand how I managed my department, the overall feel of the people, and what defined a good candidate in my own words. They are very dedicated to finding people that are a fit for both skills and culture. I would absolutely use them again, and I have at 2 different companies now. They delivered as promised, and brought me candidates that were all a fit. I didn't have to waste time going through non qualified candidates every week. Over the past 6 years I have hired over 50% of the candidates they presented me, which is extremely efficient. Both Jessica and Mikey are awesome to work with and have delivered well for me. On top of that everyone I've met at Route has been a pleasure to talk to. If you want someone that will take the time to understand what your recruiting needs are, you should definitely talk to them. Bianca was so helpful during my interview process! I’ve worked with many recruiters and she was by far the most communicative. She listened to my concerns and was quick to get me an answers. Definitely recommend working with Bianca if you are looking for a new role! I had an excellent experience working with Bianca from Route Networking to find and get hired in my current role! I appreciate that she took the time to consider my individual career and personal goals and found a position that was an excellent fit for me. Thanks to her help, I walked in to my interview feeling confident and prepared. She exhibited a high level of professionalism in our time working together and truly went above and beyond, even checking in with me during my first week to make sure I was transitioning smoothly. Thanks to her I was able to take my career in a new direction and I now work with an awesome team in an industry I’m excited about. I would highly recommend working with Bianca if you’re looking for some professional expertise as you transition in your career! I’ve had the pleasure to work with everyone at RNG for the last 18 months and have a great experience working with them; especially Mikey Castro,. We’ve hired several candidates who have made significant contributions to the company. Their team is amazing as well; Bianca, Zoe and Kayla all go to great lengths to understand the needs of the company and the specific roles we were looking to fill. I highly recommend them to any company looking to have a great partner and ally in recruiting top talent. Working with Jessica at RNG on the search for the President of our non-profit group was an exceptional experience that exceeded all expectations. From the outset, Jessica's professionalism, skill, and deep understanding of the non-profit sector were evident. Her approach was both methodical and insightful, demonstrating a level of experience that is rare in the field. One of the most impressive aspects of working with Jessica was her ability to listen. She invested significant time in understanding the unique culture of our organization, the specific challenges we face, and the qualities we were looking for in a President. This wasn't a one-size-fits-all approach; Jessica tailored her search strategy to fit our specific needs, demonstrating a flexibility and responsiveness that was key to our success. The person we hired as President is an excellent fit, and will contribute significantly to our organization's growth and impact. This outcome is a direct result of Jessica's hard work, dedication, and her commitment to understanding and meeting our needs. Working with Bianca and Route Networking Group has been a fantastic experience. She took the time to have a conversation with me about my interests and where I wanted to go with my career and kept me in mind for similar roles. During the interview process she checked in regularly to see if I needed any assistance and was very supportive. I would highly recommend working with Bianca and Route Networking Group as they value finding a perfect fit for their clients and supporting potential candidates during the hiring process. Bianca Tovar is an outstanding recruiter who I highly recommend to any candidate or employer. She remembered me from a meeting we had a couple of years ago and reached out after finding an opportunity that was a perfect fit for my background and experience. Bianca truly takes the time to understand the wants and needs of both candidate and employer and works to make meaningful matches. She is professional and friendly, responsive in her communication, and will go above and beyond to ensure a positive experience. From the first conversation I had with Bianca I knew that she was genuinely interested in talking to me and finding out what I was about and what I wanted in my next role. Bianca took so much time listening, coaching and encouraging me through my interview processes. Her advice was timely and effective and she was so encouraging and optimistic each time we spoke. I truly felt like she was in my corner and she wanted me to succeed. I would recommend Bianca without hesitation and I am so glad to have her on my team for the future! I was really impressed with my recruiter, Abby Okazaki. She asked pertinent questions and listened to my needs and the needs of the potential employer to make sure we were a good fit. She created a safe, comfortable atmosphere that made the process of finding a job easier, and less stressful. If I had any questions, she responded immediately and took the time to get the information I needed. I would recommend this company/service to anyone who is wanting to find the perfect job and/or the right employee to fill their job opening. Thanks for all the hard work! Bianca Tovar was a pleasure to work with. She reached out to me on LinkedIn for a Director position at a great company. I had some push back from me as I wasn't in the market for a new role. Her communication is amazing and she event went out of her way to send over an awesome gift after I got my new position. Would recommend Bianca to anyone looking for a new position! She is absolutely amazing! Zoe and the RNG team are top-tier. Zoe provided the perfect amount of communication. She reached out to keep me up-to-speed, but didn’t bombard my inbox. Also, Zoe is clever, relatable, and kept things real. She made the interviewing process seem exciting and way less intimidating (I did a happy dance anytime I saw her name pop-up in my inbox). She was the ultimate hype-lady as I went through the process. I am so glad I responded to her LinkedIn message, because it led me to a rockstar team and a wonderful new position at an awesome company. Have worked with RNG and Bianca on a few occasions for hiring. Overall, great to work with them. We have gotten a handful of really well-aligned and qualified candidates who we have hired for various positions. Bianca communicates extremely well and is really responsive. During my recent job search, I used Route Networking Group. Most of my contact was with Bianca and the level of service, honesty, and transparency was absolutely wonderful! It was such a breath of fresh air after using so many different job boards to have an individual who was available to answer any questions that came up and work as an advocate for both the candidate and the prospective employer. This was also a higher level of service than any other recruiter with whom I have worked. I would highly recommend RNG! Having worked with RNG for the first time, it was an excellent experience. Both Zoe and Bianca took the time to truly understand our needs, as well as our culture. They provided several highly qualified candidates within the first 2 weeks. Having just reached out to them out of the blue, we didn't really have any expectations. However, having now hired one of their suggested candidates, we can confidently say that they exceeded even our most optimistic predictions. Worked with Zoe to fill a position at my IT services firm. The team at Route was easy to work with and so helpful finding qualified applicants. 5 stars, would use them again and again for their great service. Route Networking Group is an awesome partner. The team is fun, energetic and passionate about building community while helping find the best candidates for your role. I love partnering with Zoe and Peter, they are responsive, transparent and "get it" which makes my job a lot easier. They understand and take our culture seriously and helped us find someone who not only matched the requirements of the job but also was a culture add to our team Through the classic 'friend of a friend' I was put in touch with Bianca at Route Networking Group. We met for coffee and had a nice chat about my prior experience and what I was looking for. Due to my prior work history being very diverse (I helped run a medium-sized business) I knew it would be challenging to find an similar opportunity/role. Bianca checked in occasionally to see how my individual search was going and was friendly and encouraging throughout the entire process. Out of the blue, a couple months later, she called me up and described the perfect role that had come across her desk: General Manager for a growing start-up company just a few miles from where I lived. Fast forward a couple weeks and I'm in my new role, working hard and thankful for Route Networking Group. Finding that perfect career takes patience. Opportunities are all over the place, but perfect opportunities are rare. You can fish through job boards searching for that opportunity, but Bianca and Route Networking Group help cast a net larger than the average person can. Abby and her team helped me make a seamless transition in my career change. The team and entire company was extremely professional, timely, and helpful along the way. I couldn’t have done it without them! Anybody searching some consulting or help on career searching should utilize their skill set and business. They do fantastic work. I would use them again if ever necessary 100 times over. They know how to fit candidates with companies perfectly and did so for me. RNG is the pinnacle of talent acquisition in Boise (and probably the Pacific Northwest). I had the distinct pleasure of working with Bianca while I was in the job market and, from my first position inquiry email to the eventual discontinuation of the position due to COVID, Bianca was nothing but responsive, easy to work with, honest, and an advocate for me to the hiring company. Not only did I appreciate the professional courtesies Bianca provided (which is more than I can say for many hiring entities in my profession) but also her congeniality, genuineness, and friendly disposition every time we talked. Although I didn’t wind up getting the position I would not hesitate for a second to work with RNG and Bianca again in the future should the opportunity present itself - They are the epitome of professionalism in an organization and worth every minute of your time and energy whether you are seeking an employee or a new job. Zoe with RNG was an absolute champion throughout my job search. She took the time to understand my interests and goals and helped match me with corresponding opportunities. She gave incredible insight to an opportunity that I otherwise might not have considered. Throughout my entire interview and hiring process she was a great resource for my questions. I am now in a position I love and I am so thankful that I worked with Zoe and RNG! I’m so happy I went to Zoe at Route Networking. She helped me get out of a miserable job into truly the best job I e ever had. She really took my strengths and listened to what I wanted in an employer to find the perfect fit. I won’t be looking for a new job anytime soon but if I was I would go straight back to Route Networking Group to do so! Working with Bianca was amazing! She was personable, professional and made herself available throughout the hiring process. She even went as far as to have a note and treat dropped off on my first day. I am sure she is an exact reflection of the rest of the company and I couldn't recommend them more! Working with Route was a total breeze. Ollie reached out to me with an opportunity I had not come across on the job boards - and I am so grateful! He asked great initial questions to see if I could be a potential fit for the role and acted quickly in scheduling an interview. He was responsive, professional, and made the experience of job hunting (which I find to be excruciating) absolutely tolerable. I was hired in two weeks and am very excited for my new job. Thanks Route, you rock! Bianca was amazing! ! She was so on top of everything and got all my questions answered quickly and she explained every step of the way. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for the perfect fit in a new position. I can’t say enough good things! ! Bianca and I have been in contact for a few years now. I know something looks to be a good fit when her team reaches out. The team isn't just interested in placing you. They want it to be the correct fit. If you are in need of a good company to trust with your next position, this is the one. Bianca is the Absolute Best! She is incredibly patient, kind and has a strong ability to understand. She is in your corner working hard for you daily! We have been working with RNG to help find professional, experienced and qualified candidate. They have come through for us time and time again. Fantastic with communication, responsive and open to all my feed back. In addition to this I find them extremely easy to work with and enjoyable. Highly recommend RNG! Thank you to the entire team and thank you to Bianca for all you do! ! Route Networking reached out to me with a job opportunity that changed my life! They were genuine, sincere, professional, and transparent. Most importantly, they advocated for me and patiently walked me through every step of the crazy dance we call the job interview process. Sincerely Grateful. I cannot recommend enough! I'm the Director of Sales at Business Interiors of Idaho. We have a very specialized workforce. This makes it very difficult to find qualified candidates for our job openings. Route Networking Group has gone above and beyond in finding us awesome employees with the right background experience and who most importantly live up to our core values / Culture. I would recommend RNG to anybody needing to find talent as they do a great job in a short amount of time. I cannot recommend Jess and her team of aces at Route Networking Group enough! I was on the hunt for a new career last year and thought I was well-connected and resourceful enough to go at it alone. After months of uncertainty, bits of hopelessness, and taking a job I knew wasn't the right fit, I realized I needed help. I met with Jessica over coffee and downloaded all of my goals and frustrations on her. She was the most receptive! She was so easy to talk to and would double check that she was understanding which direction I truly wanted my career to go and the type of company and coworkers I was seeking (type of coworkers IS important but how can a stand-alone applicant know any of that? ! RNG had alllll the inside scoop). She cared. Before leaving coffee she had a lead for me - within the week she had two more! When it came to interviewing, she had great advice and continually checked in to see if I felt prepared or had any questions. Possibly the greater benefit overall, I was given an offer from my top choice AND it was significantly higher than what I told RNG I was aiming for. RNG are the kind of people you need in your corner. Let them help you help yourself! THANK YOU RNG! ! Route Networking Group reached out to me about a fantastic job opportunity. They were encouraging, kind and supportive throughout the process. It definitely felt great to have their support while considering a life change with a new job. I highly recommend them! Route Networking is a pleasure to work with! They respond with excellent candidate sampling and really understand our culture and the right fit for our open positions. Definitely our "go to" for recruiting needs! Thanks Mikey, Jessica and the team! ! We worked with RNG to help find new talent when, we were struggling to find qualified candidates. The RNG team is well connected, responsive, and forward thinking when it came to finding employees who will help set your business apart. I would strongly recommend. Worked closely with Abby O. and can't thank her enough! She was extremely helpful, kind and always kept in touch. Thanks RNG! Bianca was wonderful to work with. Thank you again! “We lacked the time and specialization of what it takes to recruit. Jess was good at talking about her vision of who Route Networking Group is, and she was going to approach her company through a high-touch service. ” “RNG was able to connect us to the talent we would have otherwise not found, since they already had the connections. ” "RNG made the effort to get to know RecorGroup as individuals, match with our initiatives, and find the people that fit into our culture.
